Probably.

These are some very scary times for our country. I have never been more worried about what lies ahead for us. I grew up when everyone was afraid of Russia and then Cuba. That was nothing compared to today.

No one reeeeaallly knows, considering the mess they've made in Iraq it would cause huge international outcry if they were to use force AGAIN for a humanitarian cause. The Iranians have better allies than Iraq, the country is much larger, and they're friends with the Chinese now. Yes they're a target, like North Korea, but I think it's very doubtful at this stage.

The Americans, however, are absolutely dying for more war , so if they see half a chance, they'll make up sum BS excuse and GO GO GO !!!

There is no plan to target Iran. However, if Iranians
cross their border and get themselves involved in
what is already going on in Iraq, then naturally they
would be targets as are terrorists.

I had a down the spiral conversation with a friend of mine a couple of years ago, he was nearly rabid in attacking my question and in his defense of the (then) potential war against Iraq, Mr. Bush and then he mentioned the neocons as being the next best thing to the "Founding Fathers". I'd never heard of a neocon didn't completely buy the whole idea.

A couple of days later Iraq as invaded and since I felt a little intellectually mugged and so went to talk to a rather liberal friend of mine simply got me a copy of "What Barry Says", and at the time I thought it was pretty fringe, now it seems positively well reasoned.

Why would they be a target?
Isn't it enough that we are in iraq and afghan? What about peoples lives? People are been killed for trying to help other nations. Why go to war with a country where the people there are not being killed or living poor lives?

May be so. All I can say is we had better re-start the draft if it is because you know that if we jump in there, N Korea will be on Irans band wagon and we don't have enough troops to go around as it is.
