I used to eat at mcdonalds up until about 3 years ago. I did not have to make a conscious effort to stop. I think my body made the decision for me. But I will still eat at burger king, wendys and even kfc. Is it just me or is Mcdonalds the worst of the worst?

McDonalds is my worst nightmare. Its run by a scary clown that laughs while kids are paying to subconciously slowly commit suicide.

It is just mediocre. But it is consistant, cheap and relitively fast. It is also an easy choice to pick because it is usually the closest option. No matter where you go, you know exactly what you are getting and that it is close, quick, and cheap.

I personally love that Wendy's jalipeno cheese burger. As for your body stopping you from eating at Micky D's... Well it's is likely just a very small part of your body called your taste buds that put on the brakes.

I beg to differ.
Recently, McDonald's has started introducing new healthy meals, such as salads, fruits - even in the drinks! They brought out milk and fruit shoots, which are better than fizzy soda.
Another thing they're doing recently is on all the food the packets tell you how much of your daily intake it provides, and how much you should have per day. It's actually quite useful. My only complaint is that they only tell women how much they need; it tells you the daily recommended intake of x for women, and the daily recommended intake of x for children (the picture is of a female child).

I prefer McDonald to Wendy's, KFC and Burger King. Call it personal preference.

Considering the offerings at the other places you mentioned, I think McDonalds is better. They have a much better variety of choices and price ranges. The other fast food joints have followed McDonalds' lead in most matters of effectively selling there product (ie, the dollar menu). People talk about McDonalds being bad , talk about about it being good, but the key is that everyone's still talking about. Noone else gets this much publicity. Don't you think that's because they are the best at what they do?

I don't any more, unless I'm on the road and it's the ONLY option.

But I used to work there and the amount of grease and fat and stuff TOTALLY stopped that craving.

And I don't like Wendy's or Jack in the Box or White Castle or whatever else. I DO like Burger King, but only rarely, and I like Hardees' breakfast biscuits. I prefer to make my own chicken, so I don't eat at KFC either.

Mostly because they like it, but convenience is also a factor. When I can't find anything else, I can always find a McDonalds.
Sometimes we just burnout on certain foods. For me, it is KFC. McDonalds, which is immensely popular is certainly not the worst of the worst; people love their food; even in other countries!! Also, their profits seldom decline.

I do not know, I do not. We had a Mcd at work, their contract was up, and now they are gone. I was desperate one day, and bought a milkshake. It was supposed to be chocolate, but it was not thick, and had little chocolate. I think their food is not of the best quality. I expect to taste the hamburger, it is tasteless.
I had a Whopper a couple weeks ago, yum-o. I liked the grilled taste, and the condiments on it were just right. I drove 10 minutes home, and it was still hot. thumbs up for Burger King! Our Wendy's here went out of business, but I tried their burgers, baked potaoto, and that ice cream thing, all were good.
I used to go to Kentucy fried a lot, I like the original and the extra crispy, but they are so expensive! Get my fried chicken at Walmart these days.

There all over the place and have a $1 menu.

Where I'm at I have a choice. A $10 burger or McDonalds, guess which I choose!

I work for a Mc Donald's here in Washington state and I can tell you that we only use 100% PURE ground beef in our burgers. No fillers. The chicken is from a famous brand name company and is 100% pure also. Not all the fast food is really good for you, but there are healthy options. We have many light and fat-free dressings ofr our salads. Also, Mc Donalds is VERY clean. Teh floors are swept, scrubbed and mopped every night, grills are deep cleaned, and we have date/time stickers on ALL food so it is fresh. I took my son to Jack in the Box for lunch the other day and what I could have gotten at work for $5 cost me over $10 there.

I saw "Super-size Me" and it blew me away. I always knew I felt awful after eating at McDonald's for some reason. However, there was a lady who proved that you could eat McDonald's for 30 days and LOSE weight, provided you chose the proper items. Some of their food does have nutritional value but it's not the food that the majority will choose to order. I, for one, try to avoid fast food unless it's absolutely necessary.
