Just returned from a 7 day cruise (my first) where I experienced some dizziness the first couple of days, but was fine after. Flew home yesterday and was fine all day until landing. There was some turbulence on the flight and my ears were popping. Ever since, my balance has felt off and I feel like I'm back on the ship! It's not dizziness, just a mild rocking sensation. Has anyone experienced this before after a cruise and/or flight? Is there anything I can take for it? Will it go away with time? It's very annoying!

you may have some sinus problems after the flight. a false rocking sensation is normal after being on a boat. if it continues, get your ears checked. most of a persons balance has to do with thier ears. dramamine is for motion sickness. i would try some sort of OTC sinus medicationsuch as sudafed etc. it'll probably go away on its own

It sounds like you're experiencing motion sickness. With my experience, it will go away with time. But you may want to tell a doctor whats going on. Good luck! Hope the cruise was fun =]

I think it is an inner ear problem. Go see a doctor.

It's fluid deep inside your ear or your ear drum has punctured during the flight.

I used to get this whenever I flew and I found taking a decongestant sometimes helped.

First of all go see your doctor. My guesstimate is you likely have an " Inner Ear " problem, even an infection is possible, which affects your balance.

THIS IS A DISTURBANCE OF YOUR BALANCE MECHANISM IN YOUR INNER EAR.

You should go and see your doctor as it may well be an ascending infection from your throat or sinuses.

Best wishes.

Dramamine...sorry I am spelling it wrong. This is a motion sickness medication. It may steady you out.
