YES! But not all. The one to look out for is Xylitol. It's is found, I know, in Orbitz gum, but I'm not sure what else. Others like those found splenda, nutrasweet, and sweet'n low are fine, but do watch out for the Xylitol!

Xylitol basically causes a severe drop in blood sugar in dogs, and can cause seizures. It is very rapidly absorbed so any person or diabetic with pets should have peroxide on hand in case their pet gets a hold of it - they can make them vomit it out with the peroxide. It has been linked to liver failure in dogs although I believe this is still being researched.

This discovery is still on cutting edge, so I'm not sure how much information is out there. We were just alerted a month ago at a staff meeting when a colleague's dogs injested Orbitz gum and became very sick.

Here is a link to the AVMA website where you can get more information.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU7c6

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Yes, they are, they're bad for humans too. There are many dog treat recipes online you can find, so don't give up on the idea, just don't use any with artificial sweetner.

Yes, you did hear that. Aspartame (nutrisweet) can lead to strokes in dogs. Wonderful Question!

Nope you didnt. I would not give it to your dog, they do not need it. Feed a complete dog chow for optimal health.
