This guy I like for the past few weeks has been really sweet to me, and flirts with me all the time. He plays with my hair, he tickles me, he calls me cutie, we sit really close, he even made me a mix CD of music that we both like.... only thing is he has a reputation for using girls.... so does he like me?? or is he just trying to use me??
And yes I've asked this question before but i never got to see the answers because I cant log into my old account

What you need to find out now is if he's done the same to all those other girls. You should find out from his exes, but be aware of them saying things just because of their jealousy. If that's too much of an effort, then just see if he does really romantic things like give you roses and chocolates, cares about you, calls you...etc :)

Hey, I've been in this situation before- turned out the guy didn't belong to his rep. Turns out the girls were jealous because he was wanted by the other girls. He hadn't done anything normal guys wouldn't do but because of the constant attention, everything got blown out of proportion! He is actually the sweetest most down to earth person I know!
He knows how to flirt, so he has had experience... keep the CD and then follow your gut (its never wrong)!

He more than likely he is just "Fishin'" He is playing with you to see where your weakness is and then he may change his behavior towards you.
Bad signs of him trying to use you are, asking to borrow money with the promise of repaying and ends up putting off when he'll pay you. Borrowing your car and returning it with less gas than when he picked it up.
If you are inclined to give him gifts, give him things that you make, Cd's, cookies, homemade cards. make a date to go out, but go to a park or the beach where you can take food and limit the amount of CASH/CREDIT CARD usage until you are comfortable.
Keep yourself in check, ask yourself, would this guy do the same for me if the situation were reversed?
Good Luck!

I have had a guy do that to me and chances are he is just a player. Esp. if there are only a few girls in that class. I know there were 3 girls in one of my classes and that one guy was like that to all of us. THen when a new girl came she gets all the attention. Chances are he's just a player but don't be afraid to approach him and see if he's serious. Best of luck.

he has a reputation for using girls...he KNOWS what girls like and he knows how to get what he wants. It is up to you, are you willing to get hurt and be used?
While everyone has the ability to change...it is very unlikely...especially if he hasnt owned up to doing it...
I say, be his friend...nothing more for quite a while. If he sticks around and plays it cool, no other women....stays put with you and tries...then u might be able to let your guard down.
Remember, players know what to say and do to get what they want. 98% of the time, they are not sincere about what they are saying.....

I know how you feel... Guys are soo hard to read, trust me! I'm in the same situation. I think he probably likes you but the relationship probably won't be as wholesome as you want it to be...Good Luck

Reputation is everything...but it depends on who you're hearing this information from. Don't get too close too soon.

He likes you and he wants to show you how much he likes you as soon as he can get you away from middle school.

He just might be a player, BUT...he could have changed.
Try out the relationship, and if it doesnt work out, be careful of who you date next.
Good luck.
