No, because there is no one religion in which its adherents agree with each other. For example Christians disagree on many major points, from baptism to confession to capital punishment and on and on. The world would be a better place if religion were replaced by science.

Science is, after all, the only pure and unadulterated way by which "God" really communicates with us.

Ah, if life were that simple. There are arguments between religious factions of the same belief now.. why would that change anything? And, I don't believe having no religion at all would fix the problem, either. Human beings are the problem. We have a need to feel superior, to lord over, to be more powerful than.. to not take responsibility for ourselves, our decisions and our actions.. Fix THOSE problems, and the world will be a better place.

maybe, but then if we just had one religion we might have just one ruler, and if we just had one ruler we would all have the same laws, that means we shouldn't have any wars, but then again we did have a civil war. And think about this, if we were able to vote on that one ruler, I mean has Americans we can do it right for this country can you imagine all countries trying to vote for one person. And worse if we weren't allowed to vote what kind of person would we get. Besides what religion would it be? Would that be what the bible taught are the many religions jesus study before he died. Are catholic cause they are the richest and more powerful maybe budism they believe in not killing but they also believe in taking a vow of silence and that would work cause if nobody said anything we shouldn't have nothing to fight for. Maybe baptist or any other religion that tells you if you don't give a percentage of your money you won't be rewarded when or if you get to heaven. And besides how much money god needs and I want to know how the churches get the money to him, airmail

In my opinion? NO! Reason being, everyone on Earth has a different personality make-up and consiquently puts thier own spin on things. Take all the worlds'major religions for instance. Every single one of them have split from the original concept of thier brand of religion, and formed thier own branch. The Christians were borne of the Jewish religion. The Muslims were borne of both. The Jews have several different sects. The Christians--innumerable. The Muslims?several that I know of,but there are also sub-groups of each of all these religious branches too. ALL of them would like to think they have the proper way,and look down on,or barely tolerate others of the same faith, but practice differently. "Link"

No, because humans are humans. If we all start out with the same religion, pretty soon some what argue about the best way to worship or what god likes and dislikes. It's bound to happen. Those people would then split off into a sect, and so on, and so on, and eventually we would have hundreds of religions again and people murdering other people to appease their gods.

If everyone was spiritual and not of any organised religion I would agree with you.The devine ,in my opinion, speaks to us one on one,not from any group of people telling you what to believe. He speaks from within to your heart, soul, and mind and guides you to do right and love one another
