Depends, but you're usually better off getting an accountant to deal with it for you (for a fee of course). It's worth paying for, you can't make any mistakes then, they no everything that can be deducted, loopholes etc, so you pay less... :D
And of course these days, you don't even have to see the slimy little b*st*rds on a regular basis, you can do it all on line :D
Personally though, I'd file all my tax forms myself... in the circular filing cabinet under my desk... the bills go in there too... and all the junk mail... under the label bin?

Go in person to your local Internal Revenue Service Taxpayer Assistance office and take all your paperwork with you including W-2's ID,Social Security card,and any and all receipts or proof of deductions you are claiming. They will help you fill out the forms and file your taxes for FREE.The downside is that it will take four to six weeks for you to get your refund (if you have one coming to you).Look in the Blue Pages in your phone book under US Government.

I do them myself with either turbotax or if i dont want to spend the money that year, h&r block online
