I am taking a professional certification exam next Saturday that will be around four hours long, which will be all handwritten. I am dreading it. I did a practice exam two days ago and my hand was aching while doing it. (it went away within 30 minutes of being done) I have tried moving my wrist and stretching my hand to give it some relief but it still aches. The fingers and wrist hurt.
For some people it seems like writing doesn't affect them.
Does handwriting a lot affect you like this?

Yes, it does. Wouldn't it be nice if we'd all learned to write with BOTH hands ?

Sure does, it is the same as working out any other muscle in your body. Imagine the sore hands a guitarist or other professions get. The muscle and joints are bound to get sore after a good working out. Try hand exercising in google for some tips on relief maybe. There would have to be some out there.

Yes, so I try to take time to stretch my fingers while writing for a long lenghth of time, not just afterwards.
