My guy friend and i have known eachother for nearly 8 months now and i have fallen for him big time. I have a good feeling he feels the same way, acting a bit more than friendly, kinda flirting a bit u know but he has had a very rough life, family rejection etc and i know he ain't gonna make the first move as i think he's scared of being rejected again. I really want to make the first move but how do i do it? Something that ain't gonna like scare him off or be too much. How should i go about it? Thing is he's really started to trust me and i'm more or less one of the only people he's really opened up to and i don't want anything to spoil that. So i want something that if he isn't ready yet then at least we'll still be friends. Nothing too drastic!! Btw he's 24 and i'm 27.

Ahh, the first move, well yes you can make the first move if you feel like it!
There is nothing wrong with you making the first move, just be responsive to his reaction, you then will know if he accepts it or not!
just be prepared for either acceptance or rejection of it!
Then you will know where you both stand, plus comminucate with him on it !regaurdless of the outcome of your first move you have to communicate!

he already knows you exist. here's a couple of ideas: get him a v'day present, slip him a note in some way telling him how you feel, or get a friend to ask him if he likes you. ^-^
