Its nothing to be concerned about. My son is 3 and a 1/2 and has the same problem. Your son is used to his bathtub at home and when having a bath in a tub other than his, its scary to him. If hes not at home and does need a bath, instead of having him freak out, you or his dad can try a bubble bath. If that doesnt work, then try a sponge bath until he realizes that it wont hurt him to have a bath in a tub other thna his.

I would certainly ask the father. If he gave him a bath he might have had the water too hot or cold or got soap in his eyes. Maybe the child had a scary dream or saw something on tv that was scary that took place in a bathroom or tub.

Yes I would be concern because all of the sudden he is acting like that. call his dad and ask him what happen and tell him whats going on. maybe his dad did try to give him a bath, and he could of slipped or something but you will only know if you talk to the father of the child. good luck.

well, i know that if it was my child i would be concerned. what would i do about it?? i'm not sure, but your little boy is frightened of something that is linked to the bathroom and his baths. he could also be going through a 'stage,' just see how he re acts the next couple of times when it's his bath time and judge from there. it could also be quite simply....he just didn't want a bath. so hard to tell i know. give it a couple of days and see how he goes....good luck

I would call his dad & ask him if something happened in the bathroom yesterday. It could have been something like he was playing with something he wasn't allowed to have IN the bathroom or he fell in the bathroom. He could have even been in the bathroom and his dad told him to get out of the bathroom & he got upset. OR it could just be his age & a stage he is going thru. GOOD LUCK!

I wouldn't be too concerned right now...sometimes kids just don't want to do something. I do remember having the same issue with my son....he HATED me trying to wash his hair...would scream at the top of his lungs. Eventually he snapped out of it. I would call his father and ask if something happened while he was there. I'm sure nothing did, just find out.

Sounds to me like he just didn't want to take a bath, try again tomorrow, but don't make a big deal out of it
