Possible reasons

1) Daily diet

You can change your diet. Go loook at the food guide then check with the nutrition information to see if you are getting the amount of every nutrients that you are supposed to get.

It might not even be sodium, it can be potassium.

What medications are you on?
A side effect of one of the meds I was taking caused low sodium, I had to go to the hospital after it got dangerously low...
I had horrible headaches for weeks and my appetite kept decreasing, doc said the side effects should go away after my body adjusts.
One day I was not hungry so I skipped breakfast. Was not hungry so I skipped lunch. Dinner, not hungry... wait, I haven't eaten anything all day & whenever I drink something I have to go to the bathroom in about 2 minutes and my urine is coming out clear. Something is wrong. I get to the emergency room and have a seizure. Spent 3 days in the hospital having them correct the sodium levels in my blood.

You are on a salt free diet or your not getting enough salt in your diet. You need some salt in your diet inorder to stay healthy.
I don't know how to check for low sodium, but I am sure someone out there will be able to tell you.
