On that tv show that does experiments they ate hot peppers and squirted whipped topping in their mouth and that stopped it (dairy or milk)

Depends on what food it is. When I am eating Thai or Indian food that is too spicy, I add rice.
Pretty much you can just add whatever the base of the dish is, although for baking you might have to start over.

If for example you are eating a hot curry mix a little yoghurt in with it or have a glass of milk when eating it,this should cool it down.Do not drink water or alcoholic drinks

depends what makes it hot. but naturally, anything with sugar tones down the "hotness" of the food/spice.

try adding some plain yogurt or just plain milk peach yogurt in curry
