i believe that we are parts of the divine
in the same way that we share DNA with our parents ... we share a spiritual DNA with God
that we come from the same source
so in the respect ... yes God is and has always been with me

No. in the fact that God is with and in us when we ask Him to forgive us of our sins and ask Jesus to come INTO our heart. Then the scripture says His will never leave us or sake us
