You can not eat for 30 days and still live. But you can not leave out food and water. Of course it's not healthy to starve yourself and any weight you lose by not eating for 30 days will not stay off once you start eating again.

After a certain time frame your body will go into survival mode, which means it will decrease your metabolism and you can continue to work out an hour everyday and see little or no results. I haven't gone 30 days without eating but I have gone a few days here and there. Its not healthy at all. You can do more harm than good, especially to your organs. Not to mention, after just a few days of not eating at all, do you think you would even have energy to workout for an hour.

There are other options for you Lady. I lost 30 pounds by eating whatever I wanted but in smaller portions, including salads and drinking lots of water.

YOU CAN LOSE WEIGHT THE HEALTHY WAY IF YOU SET YOUR MIND TO THAT.

Don't starve yourself, you will only put on double the weight when you stop and will cause yourself other medical problems and lower your metabolism so you burn fat slower than ever. If you have an eating disorder get help immediately before it gets worse. You are only going to suffer in the long run, its not worth it. Its not how you look that's important it is who you are in the inside. Take it from a fat old lady who did all the diets when she was younger. They don't work! Proper eating of 3 meals a day is the best way and cutting down in snacks and eating fruite and vegitables is the best way.

Your life or just some brain cells and a few organs. Do you have any idea the damage you can do to your heart, kidneys, liver and your BRAIN which needs protein every day? How do you expect your cells to repair themselves starving them of nutrition?

Why dont you stop giving a sh*t about what other people think you should look like and just be happy you are who you are?

Do you think once you lose wieght (and in the manner you want to lose it you will gain it right back and pack another 20 on top too) that people will suddenly accept you and think you're beautiful? I doubt it.

Beauty comes from within, no matter what you look like on the outside, if you are happy and healthy then on the outside people will find you pleasant and nice to be around.

If you surround yourself by a bunch of stupid losers who only care about materialistic things and superficiality about looks, you will never be happy. There will always be something that you will have to compete for in order to win over thier affection.

Get some psychological help. It will do tons for your self esteem which is what you need to repair, not your body.

This people is what society, your Paris Hiltons, and all the ridiculous media who makes millions off the garbage they promote today, do to our sisters in society.

As women you should have enough respect to veto this garbage and fight for your right to be what God created you to be and not what this sick society has turned you all into.

You won't just lose weight..you will lose something else..YOUR LIFE! Starving yourself is the worst way to lose weight, once you start eating normally you will be fatter than you were before. Depriving your body of calories slows down your metabolism loads....The best way to lose is a healthy diet and exercise. If you have junk food in your house throw it out and replace it with healthy stuff..Exercise 4-5 times a week for 30-45 mins and you will feel a difference within a week..Please don't starve yourself it's not healthy and it doesn't work in the long-term..

God bless and take care..x

You'll likely lose your life. If you body cannot find the nutrients it needs to subsist, then it will start culling them internally from your body and organs to sustain itself, eventually resulting in your own death.

Pop singer Karen Carpenter, whom you likely don't know, died from this a few decades ago. Google-search her name to get a better understanding of the cause & effects of what you are proposing.

ANYONE can lose weight simply by invoking your own will power and self control. Use your detmination to meet a *realistic* goal of, say, 5 lbs in the next month. Once there, set another new goal of the same amount over the next 30 days.

I've battled my weight my entire life, so I'm no stranger to what you are going through. It helps to find something to occupy your time, such as a time-consuming hobby [reading a book, working on a huge puzzle, playing video games, taking a LOOONG walk somewhere, walking around the mall, etc] that doesn't allow you to easily access food and also keeps your mind preoccupied so that you're not bored and thus using food as a hobby.

Replace the "garbage" in your house with only healthful foods such as nutritious cereals, fresh vegetables and fruits, and maybe even some fat-free cookies for when you *need* a sweet treat on an occasion. Getting rid of pre-packaged foods and sweet drinks [sodas, sweet tea, added-sugar juices, for instance] and replacing them with water, diet drinks with Splenda, hot tea, etc, will also make a big impact in your efforts. You essentially need to re-learn how to eat - and that means giving up on things loaded with sugar and fat, that also don't taste "as good" as what you are used to eating.

Lastly, if you do have an eating disorder, you would do well to seek the advice of a Dr that is also a nutritionist. He or she can help you find out the real cause of your eating disorder and how to overcome it.

Take care of yourself~ :)

You can't starve yourself without hurting yourself.

If its as bad as you say it is...Try getting professional health help

Below is what works for me..

Do this...go on ebay and purchase a calorie counting watch (comes with a heart monitor)

All you have to do is stay moving until you burn 3,500 calories.
3,500 calories equals one pound of fat.
Then you take your total intake of food and add it to 3,500. That is your total calories you need to burn everyday to loose weight.

Try Lean Cuisin meals. They have approx. 220 to 380 calories per meal. You can have 5 of those a day and still be in a good eathing range. So if your intake is 1,200 in food

You simply add 3,500 to 1,200 and you have to burn 4,700 calories on your calorie counting watch.

This is the method I do. I can loose three pouds a week doing this. I don't go to a gym. I bike around the block twice, a walk, I turn the radio up and dance around like a fool shaken everything I got. I chew gum, I talk on the phone, while I am waiting for the kids to get out of school I walk around the school until the class comes out. Its very easy to burn that amount of calories. You just have to move your body. And you know what..It relieves alot of stress..You'll sleep better at night and within a week you will feel so much better.

Another tip: Stay away from all alcohol (it dehydrates you), all caffenie (it affects your quality sleep time) and anything carbinated (it makes you bloated). When I first stopped carbinated drinks I lost 3 inches in just my tummy going down from all the air bubbles leaving my tummy.

Good Luck

when i was pregnant, i went two weeks without eating (i know but i was under a lot of stress and it was hard to get through life at that point) and i lost 11 lbs those two weeks. at the end of 2005 i went from the end of november to the end of december without eating and i don't know how much weight i lost but i dropped two sizes.

i'm like that too. nothing else works and it is the only thing i can do. and contrary to popular belief you do not gain all the weight back when you start eating again. some, yes, but usually you eat less anyway.

i wouldn't recommend it though. i was in some bad times when i stopped eating, and that is the first thing i do in response to stress. i wasn't trying to lose weight. and i wouldn't try to use it to lose weight since it wouldn't work, because i would get hungry. if you are too stressed out, you don't even notice. it's a totally different thing.

um, brain cells, organ failure, bone loss. lifetime consequences.
early death.

food is actually a good thing to the rest of us. Being fat is better than being dead. and really, you should learn to stop watching tv and reading fashion magazines so much- NOBODY looks like those girls, and the guys who 'want' that are not the kind you want to be with. Just relax, eat, drink some tea and speak to a doctor about how much a healthy person should weigh and the amounts of food you should eat. read a book and take yoga, take care of some plants and learn how to care for other living things. If you **** up on a plant, hey who cares- its a leafy organism. If you get good enough at taking care of a plant, then work your way up to a fish. you will find this will help you want to take care of yourself better.

You really will die if you don't eat anything for a month.
I myself have an eating disorder and had one for almost two years. It isn't fun.

There's always purging but please don't get into that. If you are going to starve, then do it a week and then the next week limit calories and then keep the cycle going

you'll probably lose around 100% of your body weight...aka dead.

just diet and exercise, drink tons of water a day (thats what gets the weight off) and stick to low carb foods.

don't starve yourself. and if you think you have an eating disorder, you need to get some help.

good luck
