LOve Karaoke. I drag my friedns down to bars just cause i know they're doing karaoke that night. Hardly need a drink to get up.
Have been entered into competitions, & won before, twice. Turned up at one bar, sang, & was told I was in the final. Didn't even realise there was a competition. Turned up on the night of the final, sang again. won a £300 holiday.
woot.

My favourite songs to do are; Everybody (needs somebosy to love)-Blues Brothers, Somebody to love -Queen or the Jefferson Airplane one (both have the saem title, but 2 very different songs. weird), Mustang Sally- Wilson Pickett, & Sweet Transvestite- Rocky Horror. They're my favourite, but i'll sing whatever really.
I'm a karaoke whore.

In my opinion, Karaoke should only be sung by people who are there to have a good time, drunk or not. It should under no circumstances be used as a means by which to start a recording career. I once heard a girl sing "The Rose." For karaoke!! What a downer. She should've sung "Mr. Roboto" or something at least slightly entertaining instead. In summarium, karaoke is fun.

When I first started doing it - I needed a couple of drinks. But now - I'm the first one up there, singing away. It usually gets the crowd going. I love it.

it all depends on what kind of person you are. if you're outgoing you're most certainly goingto jump up on that stage and sing oyur heart without worrying what others think or any alcoholic influence. But, if you're shy and afraid of crowds, you're probably going to need a few drinks in you before trying it

it's not necessary for me to get drunk to sing karaoke.
it's a passion of mine. i do it almost every day, i've got a lot of karaokes...
i'm fond of all music-related stuff. and i have been practicing and practicing... now i feel like i'm better at singing, i can reach higher sounds.
if you're a girl, try to sing mariah carey old songs... that difficult ones, you'll see the results.

I don't drink but I do it if it's the right song. I find doing any song in the style of death-metal hides my lack of vocal ability.

It depends if everyone is drunk the best one to sing is "Tequila" If you actually want to sing a lot of words then i would say "play that funky music white boy" especially because no one really knows all the words to that song.
