Which is cleaner: America or Britain?

Some people I know have found London to be cleaner that most US cities (although London is probably the filthiest city in the UK). However, many web sites have stated that America is cleaner than the USA...which means that American cities are cleaner than US cities...whic statement is the correct one?

Personally I think that London is one of the cleanest cities I've ever been to. I grew up about 1 hr east of NYC and have been to London twice. There is no way that NYC is cleaner than London.

Britain by far. my dad lives in London and i live in the states and if you come down to the southern u.s. it gets bad.checkout Birmingham,AL. sometime.
