well this hot man came up to me and asked me if i want some poon tang. i thought he was talking about some juice. i said yeah. then he started taking off his shirt showing off his hot abs off. then i asked what he was doing and said im giving you poon tang. then i said i cant maybe later. what in the heck is poon tang?? kissing?
im a virgin so i wouldnt know.

I'll let someone else tell you what poon tang is, but it seems that "hot man" wasn't so hot in the brain area and didn't know.

I agree with what 'captain' said in his two first paragraphs, other than the age and sex of those who use it.....it is used by all ages, and by both men and women. Most have heard it and know it's slang meaning, but whether they use it or not would depend on them. Again, in the US, it is a "slang" term and probably not in a dictionary (unless possibly in one of "slang")
If you live in a different country and find a different meaning for it there, please let us know.

I just did a search on poon tang, and I really don't think that guy knew what he was saying, I didn't see nothing about sex. in the word. my advice if you really want to know . just put what is poon tang in the search the web box area down below and it will give you a whole list. just keep looking. you will see what I mean, and if another guy comes up to you like that. just say no thanks. and walk away.

I'm not sure this guy was using the slang phrase correctly.
To my understanding poon tang is slang for ummmm...how to say this...the fluids that are generated when a woman is sexually excited.

Poontang is a slang term for female genitalia. It is said to have originated in the black community in the early 20th century. Originally, it has been said to refer to a black woman's vagina. How ever white southerners adopted the word and is considered race neutral. It is most commonly used by under-aged and over-sexed boys. I guess they like the way it sounds.
Wanting poontang has always refer-ed to a man wanting a woman to give him her sex. I had never seen it used in this context before. Either this guy has discovered this word and trying to act cool by using it, albeit in the wrong context, or if you are Canadian, there is one other possible explaination.
While I was familiar with the origins and uses of the word stated above, I was confused that this guy seemed to be using this word which has always refer-ed to getting kitty to offering his nanner to you instead. I came acoss an interesting tidbit. Seemingly Canadian lumberjacks use this word, for some reason to refer to their penis'. I really don't know the history of this use in this context.
