I heard a lady in the 50's could speak over 30 languages. Did anyone do better.
I can speak only 3 haha. Not quite there yet. :P

I can speak english (obviously)
Quite alot of German i think. Ive been doing it for 3 years.
Spanish (had been doing it for 3 years but quit 2 years ago)
A couple of words in French, Russian, japanese and Norwegian.
thats it.
im really curious now.

There is a gentlemen of Lebanese origin living in Brazil who speaks 58 languages: Ziad Fazah.
Personnally I only speak six, Arabic, English, French, German, Norwegian and Spanish.

hi, a million) might you like a lager, care to bop, the ecosystem is gorgeous could be conversing a language ok. 2) Giving a 30 minute oration on the motives of the French Revolution, arguing correct to the divinity of Christ or undertaking a business enterprise assembly could be conversing a language fluently. I was taught Indonesian by a man who spoke 18 languages. They were all local languages from the same area of Indonesia though! I think the most impressive I've come across is when I worked in Zambia. The children where I worked all spoke 8 languages and they were quite different from one another!

I speak well Albanian (Mother tongue), Serbian, Croatian, English, Macedonian, Italian = 6
Some Turkish, German and French = 3

Why are you people saying 'I can Only speak 3, (5) languages'. You are making me feel really stupid. I only speak one, but in my defence I am desperately trying to learn French!!

I don't quite know who it is but my German teacher can speak more than 10 languages fluently and has taught in germany, japan and various other places!! PHEW!!

Like you I'm fluent 3 languages and learning another one and on top try to beat me with the sign and body language.Ha ha!!

personally i only speak 5 languages- russian, english, spanish, chinese and french........but l know a friend that can speak 15 languages!!!!!!!!!!!
