Do a lounge area around the bar, you can rent furniture through sources such as cort furniture...red black and white kind of has a "club" feel to me. Also instead of typical centerpieces try large tall vases fill with water and sink red and white branched blossoms with some black stones in the bottom and flot some candles on top

I got married on Valentine's Day 1992 and our wedding was red, black and white!! The bridesmaids gowns were red lace from JC Penney and the maid of honor was black velvet on top (allergic to lace) and red/white polka dot gingham on bottom, which was also the fabric we used for the flower girl's dress. Even if your wedding is a while away, Valentine's Day is coming up and you should be able to get tons of ideas and red stuff for favors. We wrapped cinnamon heart candies and conversation hearts in tulle ourselves.

I attended a wedding that was black, white and red. The favors were large martini glasses filled with water with a red rose (stem clipped) set into the glass. The centerpieces were roses in a silver bowl set on a glass base. The table cloths were white, napkins were black. It was very elegant. She also had white chair covers with black sashes...also very stunning.

My friend got married in October and her colors were also red, black and white. She had candy apples as favors, which looked really nice against the white linens. Her bridesmaids gowns were red with white accents and the groomsmen wore black tuxes with white shirts and red vests. David's Bridal has some beautiful gowns that are white with red accents... Best of luck!

Why don't you just go to Las Vegas? It would be much cheaper than a damn wedding and reception that people will probably forget because they all look alike after awhile... plus people will be too drunk to care.
Weddings are just a big overpriced party for the woman who wants to be center of attention. If she is in love with the guy, she would be happy with a simplistic wedding or go elope and that's it. From my experience, only the ones who are in need of constant attention "need" a big flashy overly priced wedding.
Re: the black eye... I laughed my *** off when I read that. ha ha. Wouldn't be a cool look but hey, it would make the day more memorable.

I think it would be really neat to have a black and white wedding with red as your bold accents.
*Use black and white pictures as your photography.
* Maybe have a video with music put together in black and white, of the two of you individually growing up, your family and friends and then gradually the two of you together.
*Make your tablecloths white and black alternating throughout the room. Centerpieces with Red Roses, and big white plume feathers. (maybe a tiny bit of silver sparkly accent to make it pop) Red votive candles.
*Have red velvet cake with with a garnish of chocolate dipped strawberries.
*Entrance to reception or in the reception hall, hang a huge line (clothesline-like) and clip-hang huge blown up black and white photos of the two of you as children.
*Have newspaper like programs in black and white announcing your wedding and then continuing with all the details of a normal wedding program.
Just a few ideas to get you going! Good Luck!!

I was looking cause my cousin is getting married this July but she wants her colors to be "pool" and white...and the guys can wear black tuxs with the white shirts and maybe a pinstriped vest to bring in the black and white with red rose bootineers.........

1st off... how original!!! (yeah... right...original) I'll bet you were allll excited when the "creative bulb" went on over your head and you told yourself how original and fabulous you were for thinking that a chromatically challenged theme would be...what?....fun?
So now you jump on Yahoo answers to try let everyone in eyeshot know your brilliant and creative? yet not so brilliant and creative that you actually know how to pull of your smashingly good idea.
I have an idea for you... come up with something a little more dynamic... make it an Era themed wedding... "roaring 20's", Victorian, Edwardian, Elizabethan? (Elizabethan might be stretching it) Pick a romantic "era" where folks can really help make your day memorable and romantic... aside from what? wearing clothes cut from 3 different colors?
You asked for help... toss the old idea ... it's plain and un-imaginative, and really inhibits any creativity you might try to add.
