You are absolutely correct. The claims are nonsense and purely commercial. The skin is a protective organ and none of the products are absorbed by the body.

The hot water does indeed. However, if Radox etc actually used essential oils or real herbs, these could also have effects like relaxing muscles, the mind etc but you're right, they probably don't as they mainly contain chemicals...

The hot water does have an effect, but certain minerals also help, and these are in products like radox.

Their scents are also designed to be relaxing, which means you will get more benefit from the hot water

i use dead sea salt which helps my skin and leaves it soft all i know of is pure cod liver oil and light exercise
