More than mild acne does not respond very well to all the creams on the market. Have you tried Brewers Yeast tablets from health stores? Some dermatologists are now recommending this as they have seen marked improvements in some patients treated with this. You would have to take them for the recommended period...Ask the herbalist in the store.

Sunlight is good, though of course over exposure can present problems like skin cancer.

You can get a long course of antibiotics from your doctor which, over the course of a few months has an amazing effect, however these tablets can also cause lots of unwanted side effects and you would need to take them long term which you put you at further risk. I think these tablets are good for anyone with very severe acne who finds that their acne causes quite a Lot of mental distress. It seems though, that once the tablets are stopped, the acne often returns.

I would try the Brewers Yeast first.

Lemons, tomatoes and witch hazel are all proven to fight and keep acne at bay. Lemons and tomatoes are both fruits, yes fruits, with a second quality not known to all humankind. What you want to do is cut it open. Cutting it in fours goes a long way. Take each piece of lemon or tomato and rub it on your face. You may have a little something left on your face. Just leave it there. It's for your own good. They will make pimples disappear almost overnight. It they don't disappear they will be smaller the next time you check. Lemon is also good for removing scars. That means any pimples you popped in angst that left a scar will go away over time. Lemon contains acid so it's like having an acid peel thing going, but not. Your skin will be so clear you can set that makeup aside for special occasions.

Forget all the drugs and creams. These will only cause more problems than they will cure.

Get some pine tar soap in either bar or liquid form and wash the affected areas with this. Rinse with a solution of 50% apple cider vinegar and 50% warm water. Pat dry rather than rubbing. Additionally, ingest at least a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar every day. You can add it to your apple juice or a glass of water or make a kind of tea with it by adding it to a cup of steaming water or have a salad with apple cider vinegar and oil as the dressing. This will help work on the problem from the inside while you are working on the problem on the surface.

Pine tar soap is a specialty item that might not be readily available in most stores. The best place to find it is on ebay. Just type in the key words "pine tar soap" and you will find it readily available by home soap makers. There is a business that caters to primarily back-to-the-land types and the Amish communities called Lehmans. The link to pine tar soap is included below. The second link is for information on the medicinal qualities of apple cide vinegar.

Pine tar soap is an effective cleanser for all types of skin problems including acne, psoriasis, eczema, itches, rashes and even diaper rash on babies.

Everyone is telling you products to use. If you are under 25, chances are your acne is being affected by diet and oils. First be sure to wash your face morning and night. Watch your diet. Sodas, chips, fatty foods, chocolates can all trigger acne. Also stress can too. Products are great but washing your face with a mild soap in really warm water then rinsing with cool is better. Products will cause you to have to use it for years costing hundreds of dollars

I would recomend proactive. It workes for all of my friends that have acne and I can see a HUGE difference. You can also go to your doctor and get a prescribed bottle of something for acne. You can use both of them if you would want to. Hope it works.
