Adam Lived long enough to tell his story to Noah's grandfather.(methuselah)Methuselah lived until the year of the flood. I wonder if Noah had to make the decision not to let his grand father on the Ark.

God probably made that decision. Methusela probably started sinning against God and joining the world that so evil around him

This is why the years can't be counted by the ages of men listed in the scripture. The whole Old Testament is filled with Gaps the the genologic record. When nothing of scriptural importance happened 1, 2, 5,10 generations were just skipped. Did you really think that the full history of man was listed in the Bible.. It's not that long... The Bible is a book of faith not history.. I don't know how often I am going to have to say that until you God haters finally get enough synapses firing to take the information in... Jim

No actually he did get on. There was enough room for him when one of the cows Noah was trying to put on the ark jumped over the moon.

Why worry as he was clearly told by God who was to go on the ark

Matthew 10:32-39 Shows we may be called on to do the same.
“Everyone, then, that confesses union with me before men, I will also confess union with him before my Father who is in the heavens; but whoever disowns me before men, I will also disown him before my Father who is in the heavens. Do not think I came to put peace upon the earth; I came to put, not peace, but a sword. For I came to cause division, with a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a young wife against her mother-in-law. Indeed, a man’s enemies will be persons of his own household. He that has greater affection for father or mother than for me is not worthy of me; and he that has greater affection for son or daughter than for me is not worthy of me. And whoever does not accept his torture stake and follow after me is not worthy of me. He that finds his soul will lose it, and he that loses his soul for my sake will find it.

Could it be the 'flood' did not occur until he already died (that year)?
