i am going with my family to the sherwood forest center parcs and know how much it will be for the accommodation but on the website it doesn't really give an idea of the prices for all of the activities (or if there is i cant find it!) and as there are 3 fairly young children they will want to do a lot! i was just wondering if anyone can tell me whether the prices are very expensive or whether its quite reasonable and what you get free, i also heard that you get to go into the swimming pool water park part free, is this true?

I'm not so sure on a definite price for activities, but water park is free and keeps kids entertained, bike rental is free; you can rent those attachable buggy things too, and bikes with stabilisers etc. Activities are quite pricey, but told my kids to pick 2 or 3 they would most definately like to do and we took it from there - horse riding is a good one, by youngest son (aged 3) loved that along with my 2 older one s, aged 6 and 9. As for sailing activities - all of the lakes are man made and chalets/cottages all around and the man who did the sailing said not to bother, as you don't get enough wind. I personally would advise the lake district centreparcs - much better than the sherwood forest one. I hope that helps!
