Actually, Americans seem to be computerized. The vast majority of the citizens of this country repeat phrases and sentences they don't even understand. Americans don't question the orders that they recieve. They are more like obedient parrotts.
In 2004, Kerry said what you're asking about; yet he lost the elections to Bush. Do you need a more convincing example than this one?

Actually, in a way, Iraq and our policy towards it during the 1992-2000 time-frame has a GREAT deal to do with the attacks on 9-11-2001.
Iraq refused to comply with UN Resolutions for 11 years... that's the UNITED NATIONS... the group that most protestors and liberals scream we as a nation should bow to in all international policy.
Osama bin Laden stated in interviews between 1996 and 2001 that he was emboldened by the USA's lack of strong response to Iraq's ignoring UN Resolutions, and to his attacks in the Sudan, Yemen, and Saudi Arabia... "America is weak, and we will weaken them to their foundations".
WERE we right in attacking Iraq in 2003 ? WAS the public overfed the WMD issue via the media ? Is the Media beating the WMD issue like a dead horse ?
Where America has lost it's values is in our "now, now, now!!" attitude... Most Americans make NO sacrifice to aid the war in Iraq or in the "Global War on Terror"... you continued to drive your SUV's while screaming "It's about the Oil". And our view is so distorted...

Bush himself has said that iraq had nothing to do with terrorism and 9/11. The only information we ever had that iraq had anything to do with terrorists was that a few of them met in iraq but never with iraqi officials. I might remind that that cannot be used as an argument that they suppoted terroism as terroists have also met each other here in the us as well as other western nations around the world.
However there is concern that iraq is now and will be involved in terrorism in the future but that is a direct result of the actions the bush administration has taken in the past few years. This was actually predicted during the us military war games conducted in regards to iraq long before the invasion.
Follow the link before for the conclusions of the us/iraq war games.

Oh no my friend WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN! And the Bush crime family will pay and all the New World Order Neo Con scum that direct them. When Cheney told NORAD to stand down that day and let the planes hit their targets that should be enough evidence right there to impeach and throw them all in jail for life, but then you look at the explosions. The explosions all throughout the Trade Center buildings like a computer controlled demoltion are enough there. Building 7 which had hardly any damage just simply imploded evenly and perfectly into a nice little pile but that is one barely anyone talks about. The twin towers had outward explosions which you can see if you watch footage close up.
Please everyone the WAR ON TERROR is a lie and our only war is at home. Please watch 'Loose Change' for free if you have not yet. It is amazing.

Why are so many Americans simply clueless? Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, and not only did the invasion of Iraq have nothing to do with the "war on terror", but it's only made things worse by further destabilizing the region, further alienating Arab Muslims, and *increasing* the likelihood of further terrorism.
You're right, America has lost its' values, but I'm not sure which values you're talking about..............

I think we all get our A's and B's mixed up. Iraq was not the central command for what happened in new York on 9-11.
I am just amazed how instead of Muslims (not that all of them need to) apologizing what was done in the name of their religion -Americans are as though apologizing to the Muslims and trying to make amens TO THEM..,
as you can witness businesses and government pushing our own Christians out of the way to make sure we don't offend Muslims. A Christian cant wear certain jewelry with religious symbols to work -Muslims can (the ACLU sees to it!)
Christian children can not say a prayer in school or bring a Bible. Muslim children can bring the Quran and say their prayers in school. (the ACLU sees to it).
Thats just a few instances of what I am talking about. DON'T GET ME WRONG! I don't think Muslims in America need to be mistreated by any means - BUT - this is largely a Christian nation and since 9-11, Muslims have been getting the royal treatment. Again as if WE are apologizing to them for the deaths of our own people at Muslim hands.. and that is totally twisted.
We cant even celebrate our Christian holidays officiated by the white house because of separation of Church and State. BUT President Bush was quick to celebrate Ramadan (Muslin holy day) at the White house.
You do the math.

The only ones who forgot 9/11 are those going after Iraq, like Dubyah. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, or terrorists for that matter!

personally speaking i dont think anyone can forget about acts of terrorism which had a huge impact on humanity .It was not just sept 11th ..... we had many incidents over here too... The goverments are desperate to prove they can beat terrorism at any cost and somehow have lost the reasoning along the way.... they thought it would be easy and did not expect that oppostion would rock the foundations of these super powers which results in our questionings

Why do you buy the premise that because of 9-11 Iraq needed to be attacked? All evidence has shown that Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11 and that it is actually counter productive to the war on terror.
