If Moses Came Down From Mount Sinai with 10 small paragraphs scribbled on stone, then how come centuries later we have a 3,000+ page bible of books claiming to know what God said. Also, what relevance does the dead man Jesus really have to our lives today? And how can you know which bits were meant to be taken literally, and which not? Do Christians think they are more important than other people?

And crucially, with the continual accumulation of people who have once lived, is there now terrible overcrowding in heaven & hell? & Why have our astronauts and geologists found no trace that either exist, after having explored the Earth's core and the skies & space.

You are free to believe what you believe, but leave Christian's alone. Are they not free to believe what they believe also? That's what this is really all about isn't it, slamming Christian's?

You have asked too many different questions but I will answer you one. The Bible is a cumulative record of various authors over a couple thousand years ending near the late 1st century A.D. Moses is believed to have only written five of the O.T. books. The Bible mentions that Moses wrote things down in a book. The actual 10 commandments were written divinely by God on a pair of stone tablets. Moses broke the first set and carved out a second set of which God again wrote the commandments which were to be kept in the ark of the covenant which may still exist but not as the late Indiana Jones movie portrayed.

Kai, Moses came down from Mt. Sinai with the Lord's Commandments of men to abide by. The Bible was written by God ages before that! Jesus is NOT dead! He is God who came to Earth in the form of a man to experience life in the flesh like mankind! He Is Risen! He is relevant to your salvation, he is relevant to daily life because without Him there would be no advocate for us in front of God's Throne! How can Heaven or hell be overcrowded when God is all powerful. Each expands to fulfill it's purpose which is the purpose of the Lord! Heaven is higher than the reaches of a mere man and hell cannot be seen by any but God, His Holy Angels, and unfortunately the condemned souls in torment by the devil and his demons! Why don't you believe in God! You don't see tomorrow, but, you still believe it's coming! Why not believe in the Lord God who makes the days come and go at will! God Bless You!

The original Ten Commandments were broken by Moses when he descended Mt. Sinai when Aaron made the Golden Calf, and the children of Israel were worshiping it. God gave the Ten Commandments again to Moses, and they are in the Ark Of The Covenant still today in heaven. Read about it in Exodus and the Book of Revelation when the city of New Jerusalem descends from heaven. You have to know the difference between Laws, Statues, and Ordinances to understand the Word of God.

The Ten Commandments are just a small portion in the Old Testament of how God wants us to live our lives. If you read the Bible you will see that He gives us many more commands and expects us to live up to them. Jesus is not dead. He rose from the dead as sits at the right hand of the Father, and He is waiting for you to come to Him with a humble heart. The whole Bible is truth and it is all meant to be taken literally. I don't think I am any more important on this earth than you. God created each one of us with a plan and a purpose for our lives, and it is our responsibility to seek Him and allow Him to direct us in the way we should go. You are loved by God and your importance to Him is far greater than you could ever imagine. Man can not explain all God's great doings. He has given us wisdom for the things He wants us to know, but some things we will have to wait till we meet Him face to face.

AND it boil down to one sentence Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and all your mind and then love your neighbor as yourself. Look at the 10 commandments again and see that if you shorten them this 2 things I just quoted out of Matthew 22 is exactly the same. You would not find it as earth is only Gods footstool. He can hold the ocean in the palm of His hand

Dam good question, unfortunately no one has the answer, I believe it is all just speculation, and hear-say, there has never been any factual evidence that any of this ever happened, I believe in God the creator of all things but that's all, the rest is just someones imagination and mythical story telling, and what is factual here is how entertaining it all has become, man has always loved entertainment and the bible has certainly given him that. God bless

Moses wrote 10 lines on stone, and every body who came after him added a paragraph or two, so we Got all those repetitive holy books.
and they fact that heaven and hell are not overcrowded is because, very much like garbage dumps, the guys responsible for heaven and hell recycle.

There were only 10 lines written on stone. The rest is what we got after the lawyers and politicians got finished with them. ;-)
