Jesus said that he had not come to change the Law of Moses (Matthew 5:17). The Law of Moses teaches that there is one God (Exodus 20:3). If Jesus was introducing the concept of Trinity, why did he not say that he was changing the Law of Moses or introducing a different understanding of it?

Why did Jesus forbid the disciples from calling people fools yet called the Jewish leaders with names like vipers and children of adultery? Is it conceivable that a Divine Being would behave in this way?

Why did Pontius Pilate just simply ignore his wife's plea to have nothing to do with Jesus on account of her bad dream? (Matthew 27:19) If the very mission of Jesus was to suffer death, why should God Almighty show a dream to Pilate's wife which would cause her to try and persuade her husband to release Jesus? Would not that appear to counter God's own plan?

If Jesus was about to die, how was he able to say in a clear loud and audible voice that he was thirsty? (John 19:28)

Why did Jesus die before the other two who were crucified with him even though the legs of the other two were broken to hasten death? (John 19:32)

Crucifixion was meant to be an accursed death (Deuteronomy 21:23). If Jesus was crucified, did that mean he also suffered an accursed death?

Crucifixion was a slow death. It usually lasted several days. Death followed from exhaustion, inability to respire properly as a result of being in an upright position or attacks by wild animals. Why did Jesus, who was a fit and healthy man used to walking the countryside for long distances, die so quickly in only a matter of a few hours?

If Jesus could conquer death and rise from the dead, why did he fear seeing the Jews after the crucifixion? particularly as death had no more power over him? (Romans 6:9)

If Jesus was the risen Christ, why did he meet his disciples behind closed doors and not in the open as he used to? (John 20:19)

If Jesus was God and Jesus was dead for three days, does that mean also that God (heaven forbid) was also dead for three days?

If the Gospels are the word of God and the authors of the Gospels were divinely inspired, why are there so many contradictions in them? For example, why should God tell Mark that it was the third hour when Jesus was crucified (Mark 19:14) but tell John it was the sixth hour? (John 19:14). Why should God tell Matthew and Mark that the two who were crucified with Jesus reviled him (Matthew 27:44, Mark 15:32) but tell Luke that Jesus told one of them that he would be rewarded by being in Heaven with him that day? (Luke 23:39, 43) Why should God tell Matthew that the first ones to visit the sepulchre after the crucifixion were Mary Magdalene and the 'other' Mary (Matthew 28:1) but tell Luke it was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the Mother of James and the other women (Luke 24:10) and tell John that it was only Mary Magdalene? (John 20:1)

If it is accepted, as it is by most scholars, that there have been additions, alternations and amendments to the original Gospels, what confidence can a reader have that a particular remark attributed to Jesus was not inserted later as an expression of the Christian faith at that time?

The Old Testament prophesied the coming of a 'Messiah'. This Messiah was never conceived as a divine figure. How did a prophetic figure become converted into a divine being?

Why should Jesus say he could do nothing of his own authority, if he was God? (John 5:30)

If Jesus was God, why did he not know who had touched him? (Mark 5:30)

If Jesus was God, why would he say that he was sent by God? (John 6:29)

If Jesus was God, what need did he have to pray? (Mark 1:35, Luke 5:16)

Why was it necessary for Jesus to die physically so that man could attain salvation? What significance does physical death have with spiritual life?

According to Christian tradition, Jesus was in hell for three days after his death. How does one reconcile this with Jesus's remarks on the cross to one of those crucified with him that today you will be with me in Paradise. (Luke 23:43)

If it is Jesus's death which forgive sins, and not any personal effort on the part of the sinner (such as carrying out good works, restraining from evil habits, etc.), what motive is there for a person to avoid sin and evil conduct?

Paul was to feature as a major teacher and expounder of Jesus's message. Why is there no reference, directly or indirectly, by Jesus to his work? Jesus refers to true and false prophets coming after him as well as the Spirit of Truth but why no reference to Paul?

Is not the Hebrew name for God pleural? God is one in a pleural sense. Just as an egg is one in three parts, yet it is but one egg. Jesus didn't change the Mosaic Law - he fulfilled it. Just as a house mortgage contract is fulfilled when the debt is paid - so Jesus paid the debt and the contract was fulfilled.

Jesus was referring to the spiritual nature of the leaders he dealt with. It was not just random base emotionalism as calling someone a fool would be - he actually was trying to pinpoint to them the condition of their heart - poisonous to others and unfaithful to God. And yes it is in perfect line with the nature of the Divine - part of God's "job" is to show us the reality of ourselves.

God allowed Pilate's wife to be warned to give Pilate the answer to his question - "what is truth" - Truth stood before him - he didn't recognize Christ as the Truth - so God warned him through someone he trusted, his wife, to confirm to him the Truth. He chose to reject it. God loves every individual as well as people as a whole. If Pilate had chosen to believe and release Jesus - there would have been another way for God's plan to come about. It was going to be done with or without Pilate - but Pilate chose to be part of it. Man is not in charge of God's plan - God is.

I can see you haven't dealt with dying people much - I have. Many times just before death there is a rallying of strength. I've seen it time and time again even with those who have been lingering and "dying" for days, suddenly they have a clarity that wasn't there, or the ability to talk when they couldn't before. I've seen people come out of a coma just before they died. You would be amazed at some of the things I've seen working with the dying. There is no reason to assume that Jesus couldn't speak clearly from the Cross.

Jesus chose the moment of His death. He "gave up the ghost" or His soul. No one "took" Jesus's life, He gave it.

Jesus took the accursed death not only of the Cross but the curse of sin upon Himself so that we would be free from the curse of sin and the accursed life and destination that goes with it.

You are thinking in the natural again. Jesus chose to die because His work was finished and it was time. He laid down His life of His own free will (and He also took it up again). I've seen people choose the time of their death (not suicide). A friend was dying of cancer and she didn't want to die when her friends came on duty - she willed herself to die before that time and she did. She died a couple of hours before shift change.

Jesus didn't fear seeing the Jews. It was not however in the plan of God for that to happen. Jesus told Thomas ...blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe. Jesus said they wouldn't believe even though one rose from the dead. Seeing isn't believing - faith must come from hearing.

Again, he met behind closed doors because seeing doesn't produce faith for the unbeliever. But for the believer are reserved the special presence and closeness of God. Jesus practiced what He preached - don't cast your pearls before swine. If they truely wanted to believe - they would have when Lazarus was raised from the dead - instead they just wanted to kill him again.

This is a lack of understanding of the Trinity. God is one in essence with three seperate office works - The Father was in heaven being the CEO, the Son was fullfilling the Father's will on earth (going to the Cross etc), the Holy Spirit was busy ripping the temple vail from top to bottom and demonstrating the power of God. Jesus never ceased being God - He just didn't use His God attributes on this earth. God never ceased to exist just as Jesus never ceased to exist - death is not a cessation of existance.

There are no contradictions in scripture - only our understanding. Each Gospel writer wrote to a different group of people for a different purpose. Each told the story from their perspective emphasising different parts. The Gospel writers were eye witnesses of these events but like all eye witnesses each saw things from a different perspective. Mark tells us Jesus was crucified (physically nailed to the cross) at the 3rd hour while John tells us Jesus was crucified (spiritually became sin for us at the sixth hour when physical darkness fell representing the spiritual darkness of sin coming upon Jesus). Two different aspects of the same event. The thief issue: the repentent thief was just that, repentent. I'm sure he did cast the same in Jesus teeth until he saw something different in Jesus and repented of his evil. And Jesus didn't say the believing thief would be rewarded in heaven but would be with Him in paradise. Paradise is not heaven. There is no contradiction about the women that visited the empty tomb either. One eye witness mentioned one or two of them, another went into more detail, another just mentioned one - each eye witness had a different emphasis but when taken together as whole a beautiful complete picture emerges and there are no contradictions.

The confidence that God makes Himself responsible for the accuracy and full revelation of Himself to man through His Word.

The Messiah issue: just because man in the Old Testament did not understand the Divine nature of the Messiah doesn't mean that God didn't know. You are limiting God by your assumptions.

Jesus was fully God and fully man. He did nothing on this earth in His God attributes because He came to be an example to us that we could follow. If He used any of His God attributes while on earth, we could not follow that because we are not God. So He used the Father's will, the Father's authority etc to show us we must do the same. He spoke nothing, He did nothing outside of what He saw and heard from the Father.

Like I said - He didn't use His God attributes. He felt the power leave His body to touch someone. I believe also that the Lord likes for us to open ourselves up to Him without Him having to always pin-point us (look at God asking where Adam was in the garden of Eden - didn't He know?)

Sent by God - another misconception of the Trinity. Jesus is God - the second member of the Trinity. The Father - the first member of the Trinity - sent Him.

Jesus prayed because He lived this life just as we do - not using God attributes which we do not have. He gave us the perfect example of how to live victoriously through prayer.

Body, Soul and Spirit are integrally a unit. When sin entered the world, the soul of man died (spiritual death), his body began changing from that moment (natural death as a result of spiritual death). God said life was in the blood. So the symbol of life (blood) was required to eradicate sin. The only blood that would satisfy the requirement was blood that had not been contaminated by sin therefore Jesus had to be God (sinless) and man (born under the curse of sin - physical body subject to aging) to provide the atonement. btw if you speed blood up fast enough it becomes light - think about that!

Paradise issue: When Jesus died He went into Hell and took the keys of Hell and death then He went to the holding compartment we call Paradise that held all the Old Testament saints and took "captivity captive." Then the 3rd day He was resurrected - some of these saints were seen walking the streets of Jerusalem - kind of a stop over on their way to heaven where God resides!

the evil issue: my dear, it is one thing to get saved (which is free) it is another thing to stay saved (which requires "working out our salvation"). We stay away from evil etc because we love our Lord and want to please Him and we want to be like Him. The motivation is Love.

Paul came after Christ as one "born out of due time" - Jesus revealed Himself to Paul when he was on his way to arrest Christians. Paul converted and became a staunch believer and great apostle, opening the Gospel to the Gentile world. Jesus did not mention him while here on this earth because Paul wasn't wasn't saved yet and it wasn't time for him to come on the scene. There is a purpose and timing for everything.

As far as what you quote from the Quran - doesn't even the Quran say Mary was a virgin? (I may be wrong about that - I read the Quran once a long time ago and I think I remember reading that). If the virgin gives birth, who is the Father? and before the birth, God says that the Word was with God and the Word was God - how can you have a "with" and a "was" all at the same time - they mean different things. Jesus was God - God the Son: God the Word.

Oh I forgot to add that the timing for the Gentiles to receive the message of the Gospel had not yet arrived until after Jesus Resurrection. It was only right that the Jews be allowed to receive her Messiah and full salvation first. When she rejected the Gospel message, the timing for the Gentiles came and Paul opened the Salvation message to the entire Gentile world. One of the truths about God is that He has His own timing on things.

Peace be with you. Jesus said; Think not that I come to destroy the laws, or the prophets, I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

To fulfill the laws means to complete. Scripture is law. Scripture must be heard or seen to be fulfilled. O fools and slow of heart is scripture and was prophezied, just as "I thirst", "My God, My God why have thou forsaken me" and all events leading up to and including the Crucifixion. When Jesus begin his ministry he said; "This day is this scripture FULFILLED in your ears. Every contradiction in the bible is scripture being fulfilled or the actual Word Of God.

Not everyone saw or heard Jesus the same way, Jesus appeared to some as old and to others as young. Jesus was filled with the Holy Ghost, and had Power from the Father. The Words he spoke could be understood by all nations, languages and tongues. Jesus came to both the Jew and the Gentile, in every part of the world.

The Trinity is man-made. Jesus himself told you of 3 separate beings, The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost, they are one because they all are of one mind. We are divided, therefore, we can not stand.

To be a follower of Christ, you shall obey his commandments.
Jesus said I fulfill the Laws, but he established a New Covenant with us.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

The least commandment Jesus speaks of are the 75 or so commandments of the New Testament within the 4 Gospels
Jesus said; those who have done good unto the resurrection of life, and those who have done bad into the resurrection of death.

Concerning Paul, Jesus said I come in my Father's name and you believe me not, some one else will come in their own name and them you will believe. A prophet that comes in the name of a prophet only will receive a prophets reward, (least in heaven)

WHO BETRAYED JESUS? WHO DID MOSES WORSHIP?
