i was working on my car, lying underneath it and had oil and grease on my hands i misplaced my rag and as luck would have it my neighbors white himilayan kitten strolled by. Now my neighbor accuses me of his cats dirty fur, why can't he just get over it. is it not true that the people of ancient times and of all cultures used the domestic cat to clean there hands if they weren't using it for tossing games. oh those ancients really knew how to live.

Do they really think for an INSTANT that a long haired cat outside won't get dirty? These people sound like they aren't all there.
Tell them to get over it. If they don't want a dirty cat keep her inside AND OFF YOU'RE PROPERTY!

Are you honestly saying that you wiped your hands on a passing cat to clean them!
Yes outdoor cats get dirty, but to wipe oil and grease onto its fur, which it will later ingest during grooming is barbaric.

perhaps the ancients did use THEIR OWN domestic cats for hand wipes. sounds like neighbor has valid beef.

The big deal is that they love their animal. But they shouldn't let it outside if they don't want it to get dirty. I think you should let them know that if it on your property it runs the risked of getting dirty and that is not your fault. But on the other hand i really don't think that you should wipe your hands on their cat.
