I was informed by Sky that I could but obviously this is sales pitch (misleading) I have been told that I would have to get another dish and box but I really do not know what to believe. Can someone please HELP .

You need another box and dish. You can get the whole kit here in France for about €100. You need a digital box, NOT one that says digital ready. There is a ginormous con going on over here at the moment flogging analogue boxes to the unsuspecting.
They are good value though, I buy the kit, throw away the brandnew box just for the dish and LNB.
They are amongst others on sale at Leroy Merlin at Sndgat which is just up the road from Citie d' Europe,(Calais) so you can buy your fags in Belgium, your Booze and satellite box in France all for a boat crossing from P and O for a £5.
