There's a limit to the dirtiness of dish I'll wash and that's one of them.

Never, i do my dishes as i cook. By the time i have finished cooking i only have the pots that still has food in it left to wash. If a dish has burnt on pieces or very greasy i soak it with hot water and soap. Easy to clean then. Heyyy you need to come stay with me for a while i will get you trained.:))

If you have made a proper gravy then this is the pan that needs to be left for some more treatment and not for washing up! Put stock or water in to it to save for later - and the water-based things that you have put in to the pan will actually clean the dish.
I think that I would give it a good lick!

Yah, I wish....
Now and then I leave it there, with a fleeting hope that my husband will decide to wash it for me.
Alas, when I come back to the kitchen the next morning, there it is, still filthy & greasy, right where I left it.

On the bright side, I guess I'll never ever lose or misplace my gravy pan, right?

No, I get to wash the gravy pan that has been left by my wife. She cooks and I do the dishes.

Yes, but I still end up washing them. I hate casserole dishes, sheet pans, and when I burn the (^%$#* soup to the bottom of the stock pot.

Those are the "soak in the sink overnight" ones and I don't have to worry about them until the next morning.

No, I always get to the dishes right away, it drives me crazy to have any dirty dishes around. Not only that, but no one else in my house WOULD wash them.

You are quite right - there is definately a limit to what I will wash - which means anything dirtier than my coffee cup, or perhaps my wine glass... You never heard of a dish washer?

I wash everything up after I am done cooking, I can't stand seeing any dirty dishes, pots, pans etcetera anywhere, it is disgusting, not to mention a health hazzard.
