At 18 it's mainly about convenience and fun.

Look for someone who you like and who will be fun to hang out with. Even though you might not think so right now your perspective on what is important will change. Practise safe sex and keep adulthood at bay (ie kids) for a few more years. But have as much fun as you can fit in.

Have as much fun as you can and spend time with large groups it'll come in handy as you get older. Boyfriends are great fun but they are also a responsibility (like a pet) so be sure you are ready for the effort as well as the fun.

How to find him? At 18 the number of guys looking for girls outweighs the number of girls looking for guys. There are plenty of avenues, but te best advice is usually to follow your own interestes.

And in that channel be assertive. Go up to mguys and say hi. Ge into conversation and talk about them. If you can sustain it there is probably a connection.

If you can't find someone; turn to European art house theatre. Broadcast the fact you are a fan. Sex will come.

If you want to find someone interested in you, you have to be interesting yourself. What makes you interesting? What interests you?
What are your values? You dont need to have the same interests, just as long as you have interests to share and learn from each other.
You must have the same values though. Choose your values wisely and never compromise.
When you are secure in your interests and values,(in other words when you are secure within yourself) the right man will come and you wont have to second guess or try to understand if he is the one for you. He wont either.
You're young though and still can experiment with your interests so date men here and there...no need to get serious...no need to rush:)
