play around with my cousin, in an unappropriate way, if you know what i mean, it would start with "you show me yours, i'll show you mine' but it soon progressed to getting ourselves off in front of eachother, i was like 10, and she was 13 when we started doing it, it probably went on for about 2-3 years every now and then. I enjoyed it at the time but now look back and see how wrong it was.

Is this something that happened in many peoples childhoods?

not mine but i can understand it happening. you're correct in saying that it's wrong but don't dwell on it. live for today and the future.

Hi! This is a very, very common thing that happens at that age. Almost everyone has an experience like the one you have described and there is absolutely no reason to feel "bad" about this. This is part of growing up and is an important part in our sexual development. The social phobias that exist in our culture cause some to feel that this is wrong but they couldn't be farther from the truth. You are quite normal!

Just so long as it wasn't with an immediate family member it's not necessarily wrong. I know I did some really wild things when I was 10 that I wouldn't do now, but it wasn't with a relative though, just a good friend. Now that I think about it, I can't believe I did things like that!
Don't worry so much, I expect there's a lot more going on than we'll ever know about.

Yes I did that kind of thing but not with cousins as I never had any of a similar age whilst growing up.Mainly with boys in my street when I was about 8.

Think every child has "dabbled" in the sexual field, and being honest with family members you feel you are in a safe and secure environment. I wouldn't beat yourself up about it, some did, some didn't.
There's no handbooks with life. Don't look at is as being wrong but as a learning curb, one from which you have learnt from.

We did that kind of stuff with my friend, not with a cousin but hey it does not really matters...you were young, you had some fun...you were kids.

Do not feel guilty about it, every body did it they just will no tell you. It was curiosity that drove you...

Forget about it. I did too. My friend and I act normal now, like nothing never happened.

It's perfectly normal. I did the same thing with my girl cousin. We examined and touched each other. It's just kids experimenting.

I had a neighbor who would say he and his sister played doctor and nurse. I don't know if it was true or how long it went on. At age 11 he wanted to play that game with me and I said no.

Not something I ever did, however I know a couple of people who have therefore I can only conclude that it may be the nature of the beast, it seems it does go on therefore I think it may be hormone driven

My friend found her young son with a neighbours little girl. She was actually lying on the road and he had his hand up her skirt. When his mum yelled he said they were playing doctors and nurses and he was taking her tonsils out!!! Honest that is a true one.

This is a version of 'Doctors and Nurses' that lots of kids play. Don't beat yourself up over it if it didn't go any further. You were just satisfying natural curiousity over each others different physiology.
