Yes! Caring for a baby is a lot of work, truly a full-time job! Throw in the uncertainties of child care, job stress, money problems, and lack of support from a partner, and you have a recipe for misery. Unless you're a celebrity who can afford 4 nannies, do it the old-fashioned way: get married first.

Yes, being a simple parent can be hard. Like anything, once you find a routine it will become easier.
There are milestone to look forward to, to help. Like when the baby starts to sleep throughout the night!
Find support groups that have people like you in them. It will be easier to share and gain support by like minded people.
Morticians have no problem finding work. So the burden of monitary needs with be taken care of, leaving you time to love your baby.
Good luck to you and your journey. I believe God has a purpose and a plan for you.

yes it is very hard
it is hard when you have an ex that does not support you either and i dont mean $$ either
i was the one stuck with a sad kid when he would promise to take him someplace and not show up
even worse i was the one that had to bear the bad news dads not comming sorry
it makes you feel like pea size
and if they dont help $$ wise then you really feel like crap when you have to say
sry but you cant get a bag of apples because i had to by tp and pay the light bill
or sry you cant go with your friends to mc donalds cause i dont have extra $$ i had to pay the rent
it is really hard and until you walk in a single moms shoes no one knows

A lot of the times, it can be hard, but not all the time. If your strong minded and have good family support, then this makes life easier. Being a good mum takes alot of work.

hello,
trust me, your not ONLY mom doing this.
dads leave for various reasons.
leave you STANDING with baby.
I suggest little things you can do in your own area and on your own... attend church. they help, are concerned about your situation. don't be afraid to ask for rides to stores from pastor, etc, as they claim they are there to help folks.
they may supply babysitting while you find job.
good luck
