That the prophecies, magic, elven law, etc. should not be affiliated with any concept of religion or morality to keep it pure.

This is very confusing to me. The exception of course being the Elven Knights but they're not around anymore.

In Elven tradition, prohecies, magic and law are real, tangiable things or pure in form while religion and morality are just that - concepts. Concepts by their very nature are impure. Its the difference between direct, sensory experience and associative/comparative experience. The later may or may not be true but it is never dead on; so it corrupts.

Well... you just have to remember that the wood elves and the dark elves are different elves, and they need their freaking space to be all gangsta. Just let em all be.
