this happened to me and my best friend, she asked me out and we are still going out in april 1st it will be 1 year beside that point, flirt with her so she knows you like her, or just pop the question like "do you want to go out" or "do you like me the way i like you", or you could write or a poem,
How do you ask a girl out? I mean...what do I say and how do I act?
ADVISOR REPLIES: well my advice to you is just act normal,i mean personally myself i would want for a guy to act normal and friendly.well i am 13 yrs old and i have a 13 yr. old boyfriend that i have been with for about 4 months and he never acts shy around me, and all he said to me was "Will you go out with me?" and i said yes. but thats all you have to say, you dont have to say some huge long speech.well i hope i have helped you out just a little bit, and i wish you luck, and if you do decide to ask her out, i hope you will last. "modern Teen Advisor"- sheri This is probably the most commonly asked question. First of all, you have to have a target (excuse my terminology) and then approach the person very nonchalantly. I find it is best to establish common ground like same music, people, school, activities, etc. Then make the kill..say something like "Would you like to hang out some time?" or "You seem cool and we have a lot in common...we should hang out some time." or just make up your own little pick-up line. Pick an activity to go to with the person that involves going with other people. Group dating is becoming very modern! This way a lot of tension is relieved off of both people-unless of course you want to be alone...but leave that for the next few dates! The main thing is to relax, though. Good luck. Go under the radar man, take her out as a friend then some time in the middle of it make some kind of comment about this being a date watch her reaction is bad you can always laugh it off and save face if good go for it man. I read everybody else and listen things could get wierd if she thinks your after more then friendship so play it cool man.

The next time the two of you are simply hanging out, say to her "I'd like you and I to try being more than friends." She'll know exactly what you mean without you getting too wordy. She'll act surprised at first and may want you to repeat yourself. Instead of repeating yourself, tell her "Yes, I'd enjoy dating each other." You'll open a great conversation between the two of you. Regardless of how she reacts in this conversation, you're putting the idea in her head that she'll often reflect on.
Four times I've had friends tell me they'd like to be more than friends. I turned them down each time, and I regret each decision.

can't you just start hanging out more? go to the movies, to dinner and then the next thing you guys know you are dating? If you just say it it could be really weird because you guys were friends first and then you would be like....hey lets date. that could mess up things before they start. I would just gradully transition into a romantic relationship by going on more outings and since you know her do more things that she likes to do. then you have to be smooth about it and then at a point when you have hooked her before she knows it she will be into you the way that you are into her.

My advice on this one...is just be straight forward with her and tell her how you feel...tell her you want to be something more than friends...but if she doesnt feel the same about you, you would like to continue being friends with her b/c you care about her alot and dont want to lose her from your life

Try to test if she feels that way for you too. Hint about it. If she shows some feeling about it, then you can definitely ask her out straight.

Just ask her and see! She might feel the same way about you.
Make a pact to stay as friends. Whatever.

You: "Good morning Sally!! I was wondering, what are you doing saturday?"
Sally: "nothing, why"
You: "Well, you want to go see a movie with me?"
Does that help?
