A ginger snap is a biscuit. But ginger (which the biscuit contains)is a root vegetable.

a ginger snap isn't a vegetable...it's a cookie! (and a mighty tasty one at that). Go down the cookie aisle and look for the brown paper bag package, usually near the nilla wafers...2 lbs of Ginger snaps!! Very tasty, and as cookies go, relatively healthy. Great for upset tummies, too! Grab a bag, go home, pour a TALL glass of milk for dunking, and you've got yourself an afternoon right there!

Lol, ginger snaps are cookies, slightly brittle, and very yummy to eat.
They are one of my most favorite cookies.
