As a name. What do you think of it? Do you think of it as a boys name or a girls name?
Also can you think of anyway kids might tease someone called Jude?
(aside from saying Hey Jude, I don't think many children listen to the beatles nowadays)

definitely a boys name and the only problem i can think of is if in the unlikely event his name gets a Y attached as so many do , it sounds fine to say johnny but judey !
i wouldn't worry though it a nice name congrats by the way .

Jude is a great name, I know Judes of both sexes. Kids will find some way to tease if they want to regardless of name - don't worry about it.

Jude is a lovely name for a Jude, Jude Law.
Name calling may happen or it may not it just depends really. I would not worry about it right now you have more infortant things to worry about and thats you and your children.
Children now a days will make up any thing if they really want to, but dont put yourself through worring about other people.

I always think of Jude as a boys name, and I love it, unusual but not too off the wall!

I went through all the ryhming things when naming my kids. Nothing too bad with jude. I love that name. Go for it

oo, I dunno - it IS cool but a bit risky depending the area you live in. Also, Jude rhymes with nude and rude- you know what kids are like. Having said that, Jude Law carries his name with aplomb. There was a Thomas Hardy novel called "Jude the Obscure" - you may want to check that out as well!

Not a fan Im afraid. Jude can also be a rude name for a person of the jewish religion :( Then there is Jude Law, who makes a habit of cheating on his partners...
I'd keep looking! And of course, name your bub whatever you want regardless of our opinions!

I think it's a great name. If you like it, go for it. About the teasing, most kids get teased no matter what their name is.
