Sometimes a little whimsical daydreaming is nice. My mom used to explain the purpose of humans on earth as we are each here to fufill a destiny no matter how small that was whether it was by saving a depressed persons life simply by smiling at them or offering assistanc e( who knows who that person mght become later on) Or some people are here to be parents or leaders. Now I am 25 years old and I still find it nice to indulge these beliefs once in a while.

NOOOOOOO! Do you believe that if the sun shines after a articularly horrible event that God is laughing at the death and destruction? Weather is just chance and is no reflection of supernatural emotion.

Are clouds the angels upstairs having a barbecue? When you fly does a piece of cloud get stuck in your ear but when you yawn it falls out? Creative and comical but unreal and superstitious. Evolve already!!!! (You are an adult, aren't you? This is a cute question if you are under 14 years old.)

No, just the stuff superstitions are made of. If God ever cried it would wash away the earth. Heaven know there is so much to cry about.

No. It's just the clouds releasing their moisture in the form of rain.

Would you believe me if I told you that when it thunder's it's Thor's chariot going through the sky? And his hammer striking is what causes lightening?

Myths are all good as long as you realize that they are just symbolic and not to be taken literally.

No, rain is the condensation effect that occurs when humid cold air collides with hot air currents.

Believe in God all you want, but don't mix him with real life scientific facts.

No, rain occurs for other reasons dealing with moisture saturation , condensation and vertical movements of the atmosphere.

That's very poetic, and there is nothing wrong with being poetic.

Most of the arguments on this section are very literalistic, and you have gone way over the heads of most answerers.
