Just because someone asks a question, doesn't mean you have to answer it. Think like a politician and try to avoid answering anything you don't want to. Distraction sometimes works, as does changing the subject. If you feel you can I would suggest saying (with a pleasant smile) 'I'd prefer not to answer that' at least once. It lets the enquirer know that have you have boundaries, which they have overstepped with their question/s. Very useful.

don't tell her. Bad move that one. Just be political about it and answer the question, without answering the question. i.e. Q. So, are you two serious about earch other. A. You know i was only thinking of that the other day. I was wondering if my parents new at the beginning of their relationship....... bla bla bla. Allways tail off on to some other subject. She'll be happy because her mouth is engaged in any type of waffle, and you'll be smiling because you got one over without saying, give it a rest will ya :-)

well for starters i think it's your fiance's responsibility to tell his mum off for being nosey.
not while she's asking of course, but he should take her aside at some point and tell her that you both get embarrassed when asked intimate questions and that he thinks she should stop (and i put the emphasis on both. not just you, otherwise she'll get annoyed).
but in the meantime, yeah something like "i don't feel very comfortable answering this", or something like that.
hope this helps! and good luck.

When she gets too personal just say 'that's a bit too private if you dont mind me saying'. The last thing you want is to get on the wrong side of your future mom-in-law.

Give careful thought where you are going with this fiancee. If he doesn't like his mum asking questions why doesn't he tell her? He could do it with or without you. Watch your not getting a 'mummy's boy' or you'll live to regret it.

Always answer the question before the one being asked. That should confuse the nosey old dragon.
