M&S, Debenhams, House of Fraser? Preferably a national chain. And why would you choose that store?

Sorry, should hve mentioned that we want tokens/vouchers from those stores rather than gifts. This way we can buy what we need rather than end up with 10 toasters. We already have virtually everything in the house anyway!

Nice Oxfam idea though.

John Lewis!

A friend of mine had hers at debenhams and i went with her to pick the items as her hubby was abroad, and the service wasn't that great, the product range wasnt as vast as John Lewis either.

John Lewis also do their cards on white card with nice classy writing so will match with your theme...they also give you a voucher to have a nice cuppa & cake with to relax a bit before/during/after the day you pick you items!

you do need to think about your guests though....is there a store near them or if not do they access to the internet?

*oo ok so you want gift vouchers...riiiight, well my best suggestion then would be to visit the stores or even their websites have a look at the items they sell and see which you prefer....still say JL though!

My answer would be none of them. Between nieces, nephews, own daughters the 3 named above have been used and not one of them was satisfactory. Think Debenhams worse of all. Took money from the guests for John Rocha modern crystal gifts (talking over £1,000) Didn't tell them not in stock and had to wait ages. Two lamps costing each £120 from their dept but known under differnt name. By chance when looking for other lights went in to the place their lights came from discovered they were selling at £28.99 each. Really kicked off with Debenhams and their answer was "Normally, we try not to have here in the store what is in the other showroom" Excuse for such a mark up??? I think not. They knew they had been well and truly caught and in the end credited the difference . Incidentally both lamps eventually arrived broke and that was another long wait.It was for the person that had paid all this for the lamps I felt for. Shortly afterwards Debenhams were on Watch Dog about the disasters with their Wedding Lists. As an extra I would recommend Argos. Know you will not get the luxury goods and it is not as convenient as the stores you names but for the essentials like kettle, toasters etc you are likely to get these £'s cheaper than the other stores. At time of my own daughter's wedding the grill machine were popular. Argos price £24.99. Debenhams price £39.99.

oxfam wedding gift . People buy a gift such as text books for schools where oxfam are working. It is given to commemorate your marriage.
Share your happiness with others.
Most people who marry now have all the "stuff they need" having lived together for a few years. Some people actually never really wanted what was on their list but added items just to have a list. If you check with a lot of people they still have gifts never out the packaging.

John Lewis is good, but as there isn't one anywhere near me it would be no good - I'd have to travel over 20 miles and I ain't doing that for a wedding pressie!
Debenhams seem to have a branch in most major cities/large towns so I'd go for them.

John Lewis have a great range, good quality and good prices. They never have a problem replacing or giving your money back if you have a problem or even just change your mind. Their aftercare service is second to none. They also have a price promise. I find them excellent. First class.

i think of that's cheesy to deliver the registry counsel, yet I have no situation with sending digital mail wedding ceremony invitations with the help of digital mail presented you ask them to nicely known with the help of a undeniable date (that way you be responsive to they have been given the invitation). Be truthful, if asked. tell them which you probably did not have area for all human beings which you wished to return, yet that some human beings weren't able and you are able to now comprise extra of the folk you wished there interior the 1st place. maximum human beings might basically tell the caterer that they've fewer heads, so i think of it is super!
