I LOVE YOU!
"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you."
Mathew 5:44
and, THANK YOU!
"Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake."
Mathew 5:11

Wow - you must not know many people. I love myself and I'm a Christian - and I love others. All the Christians I know love themselves and others too. We do our best to "practice what we preach" as you call it. Of course, we are also human and don't always measure up to our own standards - but we try very hard to do so. What are you personally trying to do? Are you succeeding?

you question is right, because many are not yet Christians they are learning to do what they are thought,
you said you don't see many christians to love them selfs and yet you said 0% your question is not proper,.
you don't expect a new born baby to walk on it's legs the very first day, but rather it will take them time to study the word of God, time to digest it , time to work on it,
you are as a Christian or as a listener or as someone who find interest on Christian , why not you make time and talk to them about it instead of leave them and then Judge them?
Christians are not all perfect, we are trying to be perfect .

I have never understood this saying. To love others you must first love yourself. Doesn't make sense to me. I don't love myself at all. I like myself sometimes, but I don't think I have ever loved myself. I very very much love God and my children. I love everyone else too. Maybe I know myself too much to love myself. Don't know. But I love you and I hope you are happy and having a good life. Take care.

well then you must live in a sad place if you've lived your entire life and not met 1 christian who practiced what they preach. i believe you're lying, as most people do on these boards just trying to offend Christians.

What makes you say that Christians don't love themselves?
What you're saying is incorrect and basing a question on what Christians you do know is wrong, as you cannot possibly know them all. I detest people like you.

How can you talk about love to anyone when you talk about burning crosses. That sounds more like hate to me. That sounds like KKK hate club rhetoric. BB
