I think its quite possible too as a lot of what Jesus says in the NT - especially the Gospel of John - and the Gospel of Thomas is very close to Buddhism.

Jesus died at Golgotha just outside the walls of Jerusalem, however His Apostle Thomas went to India and died there, so the holy name of Jesus was known in that country and it would explain the confusion I think.

I have heard that - you can even visit his tomb. Unfortunately, all of the sources connecting Esaa with Jesus of Nazareth are hearsay, and have not yet been corroborated.

Just because they have a story of Jesus dying in India, does not eman it is the same person that is talked about in the bible. There would have been hundreds of people with the same name, just like there are thousands of people with the name 'David' for example, living in just one state of Australia alone.

I believe he died in France.
The whole Lazarus story of Magdalene and Sara coming to France is the first clue.
Lazarus is a anagram for su'razal or "good man" backwards.
Secondly, the Templars treasure was finding the "head" of Jesus which they called the Baphomet in the ruins of the Temple of Jerusalem, where it was hidden by the Jewish High Priests sometime before 62 CE.
That means Paul of Tarsus (St. Paul) had to have beheaded Jesus sometime prior to this date along with the contract killing of Mary Magdalene and then on to Glastonbury to murder the mother of Jesus, Mary.
