TAX, Should Taxes be the same worldwide ? TAX the rich?
Usually the riche Make the rules. Therefore IT IS VERY Unlikely that they ever will agree to Tax the Riches More>!
When THE POEPLE WILL ALL Over the WORD Say Enough IS enough, then things WILL Change.
I say: You can have Assets of 90 Millions US$ + 30 Millions in the bank and after that You Pay 90 % TAXES!!!
And WHY Not! 30 millions in the bank, you will have nothing to worry about. LET"S MAke IT a Fairer World, Use the Tax to help the economies in the strangling countries succeed, Use this money to combat the green house and train the un-employed at new skills.
I don't see the Point WHY some people want to stuck away ever more money 'Sheer Greed" Well it is only Human, but it would not be like that if these law were in place all over the world.
Globalization now Needs Global tax rates, No matter who you are or where you are.
LET’S SEE HOW MANY POEPLE WOULD SUPPORT This TAXING Proposal.
THANK YOU

Why do you want to penalize people for being successful? Wouldn't it be more rational to penalize people for being unsuccessful? After all, its the successful ones that created the job that allows you to bring home a paycheck. What would be the incentive to work harder, better, smarter or faster than the next person if you couldn't reap the rewards?

You are suffering from a serious misconception or two. First, its rare for a wealthy person to have their money sitting in a bank. Most often it is invested in other ventures, places where it can work to build businesses which put other people to work. Every dime of that you tax takes growth money out of the economy and works to reduce the number of jobs available and creating unemployment.

Second is that the rich make the rules. That may be true in some countries but is not true in others. Most countries the rich people have one vote each and the voters make decisions. Think about what you said above. You said the rich make the rules then you turn around and say the masses should decide to create these taxes. If the rich are making the rules the masses cannot decide to create the taxes. If the masses have the power to create the taxes the rich do not make the rules. You can't have it both ways.

Third is that EVERY economy that has operated the way you describe has eventually become a huge government mess where the poorest people lost out and all too often starved. The most efficient and ONLY PROVEN reliable economic model is the capitalist one. All others have all collapsed eventually.

Last, who is going to create this giant taxing entity? And who is going to manage it? How much does it cost to create such a structure and enforce the tax laws? When you have a real plan bring it up but what you are suggesting isn't going to happen, it isn't feasible.

Where to begin with this one.
1st misconception: Worldwide Tax. Currently there is no "worldwide" tax as the world is not under one government. Well I can not imagine what you are thinking. The whole earth is not a single government.
2nd: The rich make the rules: It is true the wealthies tend to wield more power, but let me remind you that this country was settled, established and runs on the power of the majority. The poor are no less culpable than the rich for what goes on in this country and that is due to the awesome resposibility of voting.
3rd: Our country is founded on the premise that no one is prohibited or inhibited from financial success. Therefore the case is that the more money a person makes the more they are able to employ others. (I might add, that a large proportion of those wealth folks are very generous with their monies)
4th: As a small business person, my experience has been that there really are some people who do not want to be regularly employed and by that choice, they are choosing to have little money. (Why should anyone have to be taxed to support them?)
5th: Under no circumstances do I want a world wide instituted government with world wide taxes... it would be too unwieldy, it would mean that there would be a singular entity responsible for the dispersal of monies and the potential for corruption? It would just be too high a risk.
So my answer to your suggestion is that it is an atrocious and ill thought out proposal.

In the US, according to IRS figures, the top 50% of earners pay over 96% of total income taxes collected. The top 1% pay over a third. Just how much more do you think they should be taxed?
