What I would do is use this until I got the shampoo I normally used. But don't throw it out. Keep it as a back up for when you run out again. I call these no rush items. If I have a few no rush items in my house then I do not have to rush out and buy whatever I ran out of in my pantry. When my neighbors move I always ask if I can have their pantry things they are leaving behind. Dish soap, shampoo, hairspray, etc. it might not be the brand I like but it always comes in handy for me eventually. Has basically a very long shelf life too. You can always use the left over shampoo on your dog if you have one.

Of course! Shampoo is really the same across the board--it'll still clean and everything. Sometimes dry/damaged shampoo will be enhanced with extra moisturizers or color protection, but it definitely won't harm your hair.

Yeah ! It'll be safe to use, and probably even more gentle than a shampoo for normal hair. It certainly won't make any difference. I have healthy hair, and also use a shampoo for dry and damaged, and it's fine. Real gentle.

Yes, I always use that kind of shampoo/conditioner on my normal hair because it makes it feel so soft.

This is yet another one of those questions that proves to me I have just awoken on another planet.
Shampoo is soap, that's all , call it what you like, add a touch of high tech 'smelly' and charge 300% more to the price, its blod*y soap, you rub it into you hair and make sure you rinse it all out.
Presto your hair is clean , as you may have gathered I am not a 'Hairontologist' or whatever the latest name is for barber, but soap is soap no matter what they say, and no matter how much they are being paid to say it!"
Hope this helps? I'm as bald as a coot BTW but I don't care, I'm old enough to carry it gracefully!!

Of course you can silly!!
shampoo's designed for specific things, never work to an extent where you cant possibly use one that isnt designed for your type of hair....its not like taking someone else medication!

You can use it. If you regularly blow dry and strighten then it could help you hairs condition. If it makes your hair lank and greasy though you will need to change the conditioner.

hi there,if you're not a very fussy person, then it won't do you no harm, thats for sure.however products designed for dry/damaged hair, have more moisturisers and are naturally heavier,so it may weigh your hair down,or make it slightly more greasy.thus giving a flatter look.regards roma
