History has shown that there were no major gold deposits found in Ky. Small amounts have been found, most likely carried by glacial formations, But that dosent mean its not here. Continue to look, you never know what you might find....look up the Comstock Lode, the largest gold deposit ever found. He started with a shovel and pick. The poor guy sold his share for $40.00 and the mine yielded $320,000,000.00 of gold. He killed himself some years later for saleing out his share.

Yep, just outside Ashland in 1982. Wasn't much but there is gold everywhere in this country.
