Jeremiah, because he tried to turn the ancient Israelites away from human sacrifice, satanic worship, blood orgies and cannibalism from 590's BCE.
Also because under the guidance of the Persians, he actually created the Old Testament "Five Books of Moses".
Finally, because having seen the complete massacre of the Sadducee nobles including Zedekiah and his family, he chose to save the bloodline through Princess Tamar and sent her along with the key royal treasures he could get away including the Stone of Kings, (the Stone of Destiny), the lion of Judah flag, the Harp of David, the Ark of Akhenaten (Moses) and the Sword of Solomon to Ireland.
Only the Stone of Destiny physically remains the same, now returned to Scotland, away from the English monarchy.

Moses.
I think he was one of God's most trusted. Moses was able to soften God's heart when he was about to open up the earth and swallow the hebrews once again for not listening.
He wrote the most books. And you got to be sympathetic to a leader of people with a speech impediment.
lets not forget the red sea and freeing an entire race of people from slavery.
and...if i remember correctly....Moses was not allowed to enter the promised land. After all he endured...but, he was never angry with God. Poetic.

Mine is Paul.
Paul was a man called Saul and a Pharisee of the Pharisee
God converted him instantly
Paul was the most educated of the followers of Jesus Christ
Paul persecuted the Christian church and then was converted and because he was a Roman citizen he finally preached in front of Cesar himself.
If you study the prolific amount of scripture in the new testament you know that Paul was a big contributor to the early Christian Church. He helped spread the word of Christ to both Christian and Jew alike.
another figure who helped spread Christian Church is the Emperor Constantine...Constantanoble...Istanbul

Elijah -- have an entire weigh down on him. Wrote a track approximately him. The dude ran in the time of a great undemanding (?). And on an identical time as he recommended his servant, "look at all of the angels around us." i could rather pay attention somewhat a smirk in his voice like, "Darn, those undesirable men are in for a thrashing." Being somewhat humorous top right here, yet, yea, my time-honored.

Job. He was a long-suffering man whose great faith could not be shaken by the worst that the devil could throw at him. The thing was, he never knew why God let all these things happen all the while. But he remained loyal and faithful to his God regardless.

It's hard to have favourites because all of them were special in their own ways in God's eyes! But if you asked me, it would be David. He's already become a blessing since a child and done great things.

I think my favorite was Mary, the mother of Christ. The reason is, she sacrificed a lot and could have been killed because, she was pregnant before marriage. She gave up a lot to be the mother of Jesus. She was probably scared because, she was so young and didn't know what to expect. She raised him in the ways of his father.

King David. It didn't matter what he did, he always came back to God. The Bible says he was a man after God's own heart.

Why pick the little guys? My favorite Old Testament character is God. All that smiting, burning, flooding - God didn't take no lip from nobody! If you smack-talked him, he'd blow up your whole village! If you ate shellfish, he'd set you on fire and send a gang of ninjas to murder your family! Rawrrr! God SMASH!!
