The church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints claims to be the only true church on the face of the earth. How true is that? Is every other denomination wrong?

According to Mormons, the Mormon Church is the only true Church. According to all non-Mormons, it is not. Simple as that. Personally, I think the Mormon Church is way off-base theologically, but I have never met a Mormon I didn't like. Every Mormon I have ever met was super nice, friendly, easy to talk to, and easy to get along with. They usually maintain a very functional family dynamic.

Counterfeit Christianity is probably the best description I can give for a cult. Counterfeit Christianity is an imitation of real Christianity. Bible terms like "Jesus Christ, Resurrection, Salvation, and Atonement" are used by the Cult, but the various cult groups have assigned entirely different meanings to these terms.
Like counterfeit money which is sometimes difficult to detect, so it is difficult to detect counterfeit Christianity, since it looks like the real thing. Experts examining counterfeit money often hold it up to a strong light and look for identifying marks. Counterfeit Christianity also has identifying marks, which can be seen when, held up to an even stronger light, the light of God's word, the bible.
We are at an advantage if we know what to expect from a cult. Cultists are very well trained to appear "Christian", and indeed believe they are the true churches, and you need the deliverance! Therefore, be bold and ask the question, "do you believe the group you represent is the only true church on the face of the earth?"
If they reply that they are, or if they are evasive, making remarks like "Well, every church has a measure of truth but...", you have made an early detection of a Cultist.
Every true Christian, if asked the same question, regardless of his denomination, would reply that the true church is comprised of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, and HE (not some organization) is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE, (John 14:6). No legitimate denomination would claim that they alone and their members have salvation exclusively, but the cults (the counterfeits) do.

Unless the church beliefs line up with that which Jesus taught..no.
Mormons also believe that Jesus and satan are brothers. They also teach from the book of mormon which looks like it has been copied from the bible with a few names etc changed. They also believe in their prophet joseph smith who has made spo many false prophecies it is not even funny..and he is not the only writer/teacher that has done this in the past..much of it is still available today.
There is so much more information and direct quotes available online.
I do not believe there is one denomination who is totally correct. There are a small amount that are closer to the truth Jesus taught than most.

Mormonism is a cult. It calls for people to doubt the Bible's accuracy and accept the Book of Mormonism merely on the basis of a "burning in the bosom". nowhere in the Bible is a person told to judge whether a prophecy is of God by a physical sensation. Do not stake the destiny of your soul on a burning in the bosom. God knows that before we exercise faith, the thing has to make sense to our minds. He weaved prophecy all throughout the thousands of years of scripture that have been and are being wonderfully fulfilled and also left countless historical facts in His Word that are being confirmed by archeologists more and more as the years pass. No objective non-Mormon archeologist I've ever heard of has once found any evidence confirming the history laid out in the book of Mormon in ancient America. does it not seem suspicious to you that the Bible speaks of not believing another gospel even if its brought by angels, and this Bible, which has stood the test of time, recorded the original appearance of Christ, and the acts of the apostles is suddenly not to be trusted (according to the angelic or divine messengers depending on which account you subscribe to)?; A man comes along and claims a new revelation, but he claims the Bible is untrustworthy and tainted by bad translation, therefore the new revelation must be accepted over the scripture where they disagree, hence a new gospel. Can you see the diabolical deception here?

Your answers on this question will vary gratly because many people have the wrong impression about the church or don't know about it, I myself am part of this church so therfore I believe it is the one and only completely true church, there are somethings that other churches teach that are true but the LDS church is the only church that is complelety true.

The most complete, not "only correct". All religions have things to offer - the LDS church is the most complete...we have the power of the priesthood which provides the means for certain saving ordinances to be performed under the authority of God.

That is just what they think. As far as a denomination being wrong and which one is the right one is a topic I myself have wondered. Go figure.

No, Jesus said there would be false prophets. Joseph Smith is one of them. The mormons are good people, but Jesus is the only way. No books should ever be added to the bible.

It is if you are into magic reading glasses and fancy underwear.
I think every denomination has said this at one time. Do they still believe this? If they do, they are 60 years behind the times on ecumenism.
