I do mean transparent . I can see the teeth behind the enamel . The two
front ones are getting worse . I was using colgate whitner , but that was a while ago . I stopped using , because it made my teeth look like they had lines on them . They were fine around Christmas , and I didn't notice anything til around the end of this month . I'm asking here , because I know I need to go to the dentist (can't afford) , but I wa hoping someone would know how to stop it from getting worse .

I haven't had soda in a while , but I use to drink one a day .12oz .
I mostly drink milk .

Your enamel, believe it or not, is somewhat translucent. At the very edges of your incisors where the enamel is quite thin on some peoples' teeth, there can be quite a bit of translucency.
Whitening your teeth can make this worse.

Its normal to have some "transparency" in your teeth. Maybe try taking some daily supplements of calicum and eating dairy products. Most likely it's not the toothpaste...

it sounds like your enamel has started to wear off. do you have a lot of acidic foods like orange juicre or soda? this can wear enamel away or even a lot of candy might cause increase in acids in mouth

Do you puke a lot or are you bulimic? Cuz stomache acids make your teeth transparent.

IT COULD BE BECAUSE U HAVE LOW ENAMEL. TRY GETTING ENAMEL STRENGTHENING TOOTHPASTE.
