Gas is so much cheaper if you are heating an oven. If you have an induction hob, then electricity. It heats up quicker than gas and is very safe. Also as an extra benefit it is so easy to keep clean, just a wipe over with a damp cloth. I have an induction hob and it is absolutely the best thing I have ever cooked on.

Gas is FAR more efficient than electric for cooking. It heats quicker and the heat is more controllable. The only electric device more efficient would be the microwave, as it heats the food and not the oven.

definitely gas, it is cheaper since you dont have to keep it running for too long. it heats the pan or whatever very fast and also cooks the food fast, it has more power and in seconds it has your food boiling. electricity takes a lot more time.

Dont you know how much wattage an electric cooker consumes? Definitely gas! If you're looking for something cheaper than gas, you can always use firewood! :)

gas is the better source for cooking coz minimumm of fuel is used for more quantity of cooking. but in the case of electricity lots of power supply is consumed in heating the coil it self

gas is considered better for cooking as you can turn up and down the heat more quickly - most chefs use gas. which is cheapest depends on where you live.
