I hear people stare and then smile when she faces you. I've always been more of a stare at the corner of my eyes kind of guy.

Your question reminded me something and kinda made me laugh. Once me and a friend were at the station and bought some magazine to read while waiting for the train and there we read about that flirting trick according to which if you flirt with somebody you should try to keep eye contact with them for at least 6 seconds. So just for the fun we started marking our passing-by victims and stared at them for as log as we could. The result was very funny - some of them turned red,others pretended not to see us, one of them even stumbled which could kill us laughing! Some turned to us and smiled back. But to tell you the truth most people don't like some stranger staring at them. If the girl likes you though she may feel flattered that you are looking at her, but don't make it too annoying ;)

Women always check other women out, for different reasons but the biggest would be comparing themselves to you, possibly there's some trait in you that strikes out which you find ordinary but appears unordinary to others. Ask a friend to view you objectively and honestly tell you if there's something different in you that calls for notice, it could well be that. Notice how they look at you. From the way they look you should guess whether it's in admiration or ridicule, or simply curious look which shows you're something out of the crowd! Be proud =)

Trust me from experience, staring freaks women out. Your much better off talking to them, Even if you think what your going to say might not get the reaction you want. Even really attractive guys who stare get nothing. Talking is your best policy. It might not work, but at least you made an effort.

yeah, just dont stare to long. for example if she stares back at you look away then stare back. if she stares again and smiles you know shes intereste. then you can maybe go over and make a joke or compliment her or something.

Staring doesn't work. You have to walk up to girls and talk to them. Be confident and comfortable with yourself, they like that. Staring would just creep them out.
