Pavlik is one heck of a fighter. I think he has the potential to one day unify the belts. Don't get me wrong...he still has a few things to work on, but this dude is for real. I've only seen him fight a few times but was impressed each time. For 160lbs he has a lot of power, a strong jab, comes from all angles, and is relentless from round one to twelve. I can't believe the way he keeps coming with about 100 punches per round. If he sharpens up his defense he will be extremely hard to beat at 160lbs.

I think Pavlic has been tested a little more as he has been knocked down early and came back to knock out the other guy. Miranda's big step up in competition against Abram was not such a positive -- he had busted Abram up pretty bad but still felt the need to resort to intentional head butts. With this I have to question his heart and discipline. If Pavlic is hurt early I think he can recover but Miranda I think will panic and do something stupid so I give the slight edge to Pavlic for his heart and good chin.

pavliks lack of defense would have him visiting the canvas. though he does have a punchers chance considering miranda does have a chin that has been on the list of suspects for knockouts. I think miranda has been in with better class opponents and will win.

The bout is a toss up. Power is similar. I would give a slight edge to Pavlick.
